Arijit Singh & Maanvi Gagroo test positive for COVID-19

With more and more COVID-19 cases being struck in a rapid pace, it has almost become a constant that we have further entertainment names having tested positive for the virus. The latest to join this list is in the form of musician Arijit Singh and actor Maanvi Gagroo.

When it comes to Singh, he said, “Me and my wife have tested Covid Positive. We are all perfectly fine and have quarantined ourselves."

On the other hand, Gagroo, who is best known for her role in Four More Shots Please! is also COVID-19 positive and revealed the same through her Instagram story. Sharing a picture of a Chicken soup, the actor wrote that she was ‘fighting covid’.

In recent times, Bollywood celebrities like John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal, Ekta Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar have tested positive for Covid. The sudden surge in cases had led to several new restrictions being put in place. Theatres in several states have shut down and once again, Bollywood film releases are being postponed. Till now, films like ‘Jersey’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ have been postponed.
