A.R. Rahman on launching Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in 99 Songs: “They both are very promising”

Oscar and Grammy Award-winning musician A.R. Rahman discovers an all-new expanse of his artistry as he turns producer and writer for 99 Songs. With this film, a romantic musical, the maestro also introduces to the world the next big actors to watch out for — Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas.

‘99 Songs’ follows the journey of a youngster named Jay, whose life centres around his two great loves: music and his girlfriend Sophie. But when his artistic aspirations get in the way of his relationship, Jay finds himself faced with the toughest test of his life yet. What follows is a journey of heartbreak and redemption, of loss and faith and an ode to the timeless power of love and music.

Speaking about the fresh pairing, A.R. Rahman says in a statement shared by his team,
