April Fools Day: Iconic TV pranks

The day of pranks has finally arrived. While most of us can't pull pranks physically on our friends, we will still try. To remember all the iconic pranks of TV here are some most famous TV pranks that I'm sure we all want to pull someday.

When it comes to pranks, Ellen is one of the biggest pranksters of TV. The host is often seen scaring people with her most common 'pop out' prank and also making celebrities prank others.

One of the funniest and most iconic pranks that Ellen pulled was a classic scare on pop singer Taylor Swift. That day we found out that Taylor's defence mechanism is nor flight or fight but toppling over on the floor screaming.

Of course, we can't forget the most iconic of all the TV shows, 'Friends'.

When Rachel is stuck with babysitting Ross' son Ben, she doesn't know what to do. So she retorts to the worst thing you could ever teach a notorious child.

Rachel teaches Ben a few tricks here and there guaranteed to anger his father, Ross. Ben indeed angers Ross by playing pranks on him, his mother and everyone who comes over.

To get back at her, Ross and Ben hatch an elaborate stunt in which "Ross" is seen suffering a dangerous fall down the stairs, only for it to be revealed that a stuffed dummy that looks like Ross was the one who fell.

Punk'd being one of the best prank shows never failed us, has a lot of iconic pranks on the show. The show having celebrities like Justin Beiber to Ashton Kutcher prank people.

One of the best pranks on the show was by Ashton Kutcher as he pulled on Justin Timberlake. With a team by his side, Kutcher convinced the singer that he owed nearly $1 million in back taxes and that all of his belongings and even his pets were being taken as a result.

How I Met Your Mother has given us many iconic moments. The show shows us every aspect of friendship.

In one of the episodes, Barney Stinson initiates a war with Mashall on Clark Butterfield, the businessman working across the way from Goliath National Bank. The episode has a series of pranks being pulled on either parties with enough creativity to make you wanna try it once in your lifetime.

With a series of pranks being pulled by Jim on his fellow office employees, the series gives you lots of ideas to pull harmless pranks on your loved ones.

The very first prank pulled on the show in the very first episode is probably one of the best and most harmless pranks.

Say you've lost your stapler, or your calculator, or your ''World's Best Boss'' coffee mug. Someone probably borrowed it. Maybe you misplaced it. But if you work at Dunder Mifflin Scranton, your office supplies are probably encapsulated in a Jell-O mould. Jim encases Dwight's stapler in Jell-O, inspiring future gelatinous tricks around Dunder Mifflin.

While it's not his most elaborate or inventive hoax, Jim's inaugural prank is a classic, especially when he denies his guilt while innocently slurping on Jell-O.
