Apoorva Mukhija reveals whether she’ll attend Cannes 2025: 'Gaali nahi khaani…'

The Rebel Kid aka Apoorva Mukhija gained attention after her appearance on India’s Got Latent earlier this year, where she served on the judging panel. During the episode, her comment to a contestant caused significant controversy, thrusting her into the spotlight and drawing threats. Last month, she returned to social media, discussing her experiences of the past few months. Now, she has responded to inquiries about her potential attendance at Cannes.

On Monday, a fan of Apoorva Mukhija expressed their desire for the influencer to attend Cannes 2025. During a playful Ask Me Anything session hosted by an entertainment agency, the fan mentioned Apoorva’s name in response to the question, "Which creator do you want to see at Cannes this year?" Upon seeing the post, the popular influencer responded with a witty remark, “Gaali nahi khaani," suggesting that her presence at the prestigious festival might provoke online criticism.

Apoorva Mukhija faced significant trolling for using offensive language on the Samay Raina show, as she disclosed in a post following her return. The episode also featured Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, and Jaspreet Singh on the judging panel.

Recently, appearing on BraveTalk with Nikhil on Yuvaa, Apoorva addressed the controversy she was involved in. During the interaction, she also voiced her frustration over the limited public outcry regarding the contestant's sexist remark on the show, which led to the influencer's comment.

She added, “But he is just a man! And I am the rebel kid. Sensation sells and I am the TRP! He is not! I am the thumbnail. He is a nobody, so I can’t be angry at why they didn’t tell him anything."

Amidst the controversy, Apoorva Mukhija also made her acting debut in the film Nadaaniyan, which stars Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in the lead roles.
