Apoorva Mukhija Faces Backlash Again for Disruptive Behaviour at Sabrina Carpenter’s Paris Concert

Apoorva Mukhija, also known as Rebel Kid, has once again found herself in controversy. The YouTuber-turned-actor, who was recently in the headlines due to the India’s Got Latent controversy, is now facing criticism for her actions at singer Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris. A video of the incident has gone viral, drawing negative reactions from netizens.

A TikTok video, which later surfaced on Reddit, shows Apoorva enthusiastically enjoying the concert—lip-syncing and dancing. However, what caught people’s attention was her repeated use of camera flashes, which seemed to disturb those around her. In the video, a security guard is seen flashing a light toward her, seemingly instructing her to sit down.

The viral clip’s caption, originally in French, translates to: “POV: We were at the concert, and she was filming her own music video. The security guard asked her to sit down, but she didn’t care. Big flash in the face.”

Towards the end of the video, Apoorva appears annoyed and can be heard saying, “Main thappad mar doongi usko” (I will slap them). Several Reddit users also alleged that she lashed out at concertgoers when asked to stop using the flash. Some even claimed that she almost hit someone before security intervened.

The internet reacted swiftly, with many criticizing her conduct. One Reddit user commented, “Ruining the name of the country and its people.” Another wrote, “Ew. Just ew. Second-hand embarrassment. We don’t claim her, respectfully.” Many speculated that her PR team might attempt to downplay the situation.

This backlash comes just weeks after the India’s Got Latent controversy, where Apoorva, along with Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina, faced outrage over an inappropriate remark made on the show. Following multiple FIRs, she recently recorded her statement with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell.

With her social media presence still low since the India’s Got Latent fallout, this fresh controversy has once again placed Apoorva Mukhija under public scrutiny.
