Anupamaa's Jatin Suri opens up on producer Rajan Shahi's WORKING PATTERN: 'To him everyone is..'

Jatin Suri, who is seen as Raja Kothari (Prem’s cousin) in Deepa Shahi and Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa, which is produced under their banner Shahi Productions Pvt Ltd, is happy to come on board the popular show. He calls it a blessing and shares that he is grateful to the producer for giving him the opportunity.

He said, “This is the number one show, as the whole world knows, and even in my house, this was the only show that was always on. My mom kept saying to me, 'I wish you would do this,' and we often say, 'What surrounds you, comes to you.' It's a blessing from my mom and dad, as they made the universe listen, and the universe responded. She always says, 'You'll be a part of this.' And now she is so happy.”

Talking about his character he shared that he was able to build an instant connect and said, “I gave the audition with full confidence. Then, with the second script, I performed well too. It felt like I had already started embodying the character! This is all thanks to everyone and their blessings. I’m here today because of that, as Raja Kothari.”

He also confessed that looking at the popularity of the show, his first take did make him a little nervous as he felt that he had to perform well and not make any mistakes. “That pressure or the happiness inside made me nervous! It’s my comeback as I have taken a break of 8 months. I got emotional and I feel so grateful that Rajan sir and his team trusted me for this character,” he said.

He also credited the producer of the show for the success and said, “I have always heard about him but after working with him I got to know why he is the best of the best. His and the team's working style was so up to date and positive.”
