Anupamaa: Anu faces molestation at work, but rather accused of making move on married man

Star Plus' Anupamaa's current story has taken an emotional turn, now unfolding in two parallel tracks, Anupama's quiet life in Mumbai and the changing situations in the Kothari and Shah families after her departure. Following Aryan's death from a drug overdose, both families blame Anupama for hiding the truth and cut all ties with her. Heartbroken, Anupama begins a new life in Mumbai, where she is living a different lifestyle.

After a short leap, Anupama is shown as more silent and emotionally broken, still carrying the pain of her past. Back in the Kothari and Shah households, things have changed. Mahi is now seen in sarees, carrying herself with confidence and receiving praise, especially from Khayti. In contrast, Rahi is constantly criticised despite managing all the household chores. Mahi now goes to work with Prem, but it's clear she still feels insecure watching Prem and Rahi's growing closeness. Meanwhile, in the Shah house, Prarthna and Ansh are bonding well, bringing yet another twist to the story.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Anupama is seen working as a cook. While she is preparing food, the man of the house stands near the kitchen entrance and keeps staring at her. When Anupama notices, he asks for her name. Nervously, she responds. He compliments her name and slowly walks towards her, pretending to ask for something to eat, but makes her uncomfortable by coming too close.

He then crosses the line by touching Anupama's arm and making an inappropriate comment about wanting to kiss her hands, leaving her deeply uncomfortable and frightened. He continues with his uncomfortable remarks, saying it's surprising that someone like her is left all alone. Just as he tries to misbehave further, his wife unexpectedly walks in and questions why he's in the kitchen.

Panicked, he quickly twists the situation and falsely accuses Anupama of coming on to him. He says he only came to get some fafda and claims that Anupama asked for his number. His wife immediately believes him and starts blaming Anupama, saying she gave her the job out of kindness and never expected her to make a move on her husband. Furious, the woman then angrily grabs Anupama's hand. She tells her husband to start recording as she threatens to ruin Anupama's reputation completely, saying she won't let her show her face anywhere again.
