Anu Malik Gets Replaced By Himesh Reshammiya As Judge In Indian Idol 11

Sony TV’s popular singing reality show Indian Idol is making a lot of headlines this season. First for Neha Kakkar’s controversy and then for Anu Malik’s ouster from the show with regarding to MeToo row. After searching for long enough, the makers have finally found a replacement for Anu Malik and it’s none other than Himesh Reshamiya. 

It was Sona Mohapatra who started the whole petition of removing Anu Malik from the show, after which the topic caught fire and was spread all over the internet. Netizens requested the makers of the show to remove him from the judging panel of the show. Not just Sona but Neha Bhasin and Tanushree Dutta too demanded his removal from the show. After his ouster, Anu Malik released a statement wherein he said that he will come back after he will clear his name out of the controversy. 

Now, media reports suggest that Himesh Reshamiya is being considered to replace Malik. However, no official announcement or confirmation has come from the makers. Apart from Anu, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani are the part of the judges panel.
