Her performance in the show earned her numerous accolades, making her a household name. However, her success was the result of a lot of hard work.
The TV actress not only carved her name in television but also in Bollywood with her portrayal in Manikarnika and Bhaagi 3. Ankita also has revealed how Padmaavat was offered to her, and she dodged the offer, stating she was not ready. The actress is known for her stint performances in Hindi reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Comedy Circus ka Naya Daur, and Smart Jodi.
In a recent interview with one of the leading papers, Lokhande revealed her challenges during the show's production. She spoke about the gruelling schedule, mentioning that she didn't go home for three months due to continuous shooting. In fact, she even had to use a restroom meant for men on set and had her clothes pressed multiple times because there were no fresh undergarments available. She recalled washing and ironing the existing garments to manage.
Despite these hardships, Lokhande found it all worth it. She proudly shared that she worked continuously on the set for an impressive 148 hours at one point, a personal record for her. Her mother stayed with her on set to help manage their time. In television, where women played a significant role in driving the show, Lokhande had to be present in almost every scene.
