Ankita Khare on joining GHKKPM: I am happy to enter a show that has set a benchmark on television

The popular TV serial Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has undergone a generation leap and there are many new characters introduced in the show and one of them is actress Ankita Khare, who has been a part of various shows.

Talking about her role in the show, the actress says, "I am playing the character of Harini in the show and it's a positive character. She is such a positive soul but isn't happy in her life.  I am glad that I am given an opportunity to play such an important character in the show and which already holds a significant legacy and I am really looking forward to exploring this character post the leap."

Further talking about joining the show, Ankita says,"I am happy to enter a show that has been a hit for years and has set a benchmark for itself on television. It is not an easy task to fill someone else's place, but I'll try to do my best to make this character interesting. I was looking to working with a renowned production house and when I got the opportunity for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, I took it up."

Professionally, Ankita is known for her stint in many projects, including 'Men Will Be Men'. She has also acted in shows like Jodha Akbar, Vighnaharta Ganesha, Santoshi Maa Sunayein Vrat Kathayein season 2, Nath Zewar Ya Zanjeer, Ajab saas ki gajab bahu and Life ka Recharge.
