Anees Bazmee opens up whether Akshay Kumar would be a part of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' & Vidya's casting

In a recent revelation, director Anees Bazmee has confirmed that Bollywood stalwart Akshay Kumar will not be gracing the screen in the upcoming installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Shedding light on the casting decisions, Anees Bazmee disclosed that Akshay Kumar's involvement in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been ruled out. Despite his eagerness to collaborate with the prolific actor, Bazmee expressed regret at not yet finding the perfect script to bring them together. However, he remains optimistic about the prospect of future collaborations with Kumar.

Instead, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to feature the dynamic duo of Vidya Balan and Kartik Aaryan in pivotal roles. Anees Bazmee shared his excitement about Vidya's inclusion, reminiscing about her gracious acceptance of a brief role in his film 'Thank You' and now how they will reunite on the sets again. This pivotal moment paved the way for their collaboration in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, highlighting the actress's professionalism and commitment.

The director revealed that filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to commence on March 10, although the exact date remains to be finalized. With Vidya Balan reprising her iconic role as Manjulika from the original 2007 film, anticipation for the third installment is reaching fever pitch. Kartik Aaryan, who captivated audiences in the second part, also expressed his enthusiasm for Vidya's return to the franchise, welcoming her aboard with a heartfelt announcement on social media.

Taking to his official handles, Kartik Aaryan shared a nostalgic video montage juxtaposing Vidya's unforgettable moments as Manjulika with his own scenes from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. 

Under Anees Bazmee's direction, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 promises to deliver a compelling blend of psychological horror and comedy, building upon the success of its predecessors.
