Amrita Rao set to make her television debut tonight!

&TV's much talked about show Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai is already winning accolades from the audience and the critics for tastefully depicting the journey of two soul sisters Kalyani and Ketki, who turn rivals to each other under certain circumstances.  

The journey of the sisters will be portrayed in three generations on the show and so far the ongoing tracks of the show has been focusing on their childhood phase. 

Well, tonight the story will move a step ahead, taking a generation leap with Amrita Rao and Aditi Vasudev taking over Jannat Zubair Rahmani and Mehnaz Mann's roles as elder Kalyani and Ketki respectively.

The upcoming generation leap in the story will mark the television debut of Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, who has charmed the audience with her popular flicks like Ishq Vishq, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Vivah and many more. While the excitement about her entry on the show can easily be seen among her admirers, the actress herself feels quite elated about it.

Sharing her excitement about her debut on television, Amrita says, "Yes, the wait is finally over and I am all set to make my television debut tonight on &TV at 8 PM. My family and friends are very excited that they will be able to catch me on their TV screens in the comfort of their homes, especially my grandparents, who are too old to walk into the cinema hall."

"I have shot for several movies but shooting for this television series has proven to be so exciting and fun especially because we have a great team of young, vibrant people in the unit. My director Kushal Zaveri is a really cool director with a new age vision and its fun working in that space," adds Amrita.
