Amitabh Bachchan lauds Abhishek for his big win: says you were mocked but you proved your mettle

Amitabh Bachchan has been one of the most supporting Dads and we have seen various instances when the duo share major father-son goals. Both of them have always been vocal about expressing their adoration for each other, be it through social media handles or publically. Yesterday, Filmfare OTT awards 2023 was hosted in Mumbai, where the best shows and OTT performers of the year were felicitated. Amongst all the winners was Abhishek Bachchan who recieved an accolade for his stint in the film 'Dasvi' which also starred actresses Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in key roles. 

In honour of his work, Abhishek Bachchan was named Best Actor (Male) at the 2022 Filmfare OTT Awards.Taking to his twiter handle, Amitabh Bachchan shared words of appreciation for his son Jr Bachchan on his big win. 

His first tweet read, "A most deserving Award .. well done Bhaiyu .. you were and are and shall ever be the best ! FINALLY .. you have through sincere perseverance and belief .. proved your point .. !! And shall continue to do so .. time and again .. You can be derided, but you cannot be ignored !!"

He shared another post and wrote, "T 4503 - My pride .. my joy .. you have proved your point .. you were derided , ridiculed mocked .. but you silently without any tom tomming , showed your mettle .. you are and shall ever be the BEST .."

Dasvi is a social comedy film produced by Dinesh Vijan under his label Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios and directed by debutant Tushar Jalota.
