Ami Trivedi to play Harshad Chopra’s mother in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’

Star Plus' popular and longest running show Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai will soon be taking a generation leap. There has already been a lot of buzz about the same. Popular jodi Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi's exit has left everyone shocked. Mohsin has shot for his last episode. We exclusively reported about Pranali Rathod, also the Barrister Babu fame, being roped in to play the female lead. Harshad Chopra is slated to play the lead role opposite Pranali in the show. He will portray the character of Abhimanyu in the show.

The first look of the show post leap is already out and has been getting a lot of love from the viewers. Pranali is seen playing the character of Akshara while Karishma essays the role of Aarohi.

Apart from Pranali, Harshad and Karishma, the news of actor Vinay Jain being roped in for the show has also been doing the rounds. It has just been a while that we reported about actor Ashish Nayyar being roped in for the show.

Now, the latest buzz is that popular actress Ami Trivedi has also bagged the show.

Ami is said to play the role of Abhimanyu’s mother in the show. Ami is known for her stint in shows like ‘Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai’ and ‘Sajjan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo’ among others.
