All that's a rumor, Mahira Khan not replaced in Raees!

Mahira Khan is still a part of Shah Rukh Khan upcoming film Raees.

There were many reports in media that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan would be replaced in Shah Rukh Khan's next release Raees. Putting an end to all the rumors, a new in popular daily has stated the actress won't be replaced from the film.

A source was quoted saying that, "The team isn't looking for a replacement to Mahira. It just isn't co-efficient. The film's producer Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and SRK and director Rahul Dholakia are hoping that by the time Raees releases, things will cool down. They will shoot her remaining portions mid-November at a secrect location in Abu Dhabi". (sic)

Mahira has been retained as there were certain reasons it to. Talking about the same the source shared, "She shot for 20 days at various locations. Also she plays a young girl of 18 who matures to 35 years and it will be impossible to find a top B-town actress of such a calibre and dates to coordinate with SRK. To re-shoot these scenes again might be a nightmare. Hence, Mahira remains in Raees". (sic)

The actress had even poured her heart out on the Uri attacks. She is now all set to mark her debut with Shah Rukh in Raees.

No top Bollywood actor of such a calibre? Really? There r so many underrated actresses in Bollywood r not given more chance but they r simply insulting our Bollywood actresses to show Mahira as d best n superior. Even in dis situation, Bollywood actresses r put down by our own media. Wow!

@Cshafkat: Not necessarily south actress but there r many underrated actresses in Bollywood like Richa Chaddha, Mugdha Godse, Amrita Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Prachi Desai n many more. Why they only want top actresses like Katrina, Deepika, Priyanka n if not them then bring a famous actress 4m Pakistan?

There is so much hatred shown by people of India and Pakistan that no wonder both countries will never be on good terms.

Seriously? Grow up! People like those who hate are the reason we are still having war. By banning media or actors, things are not going to solve and you are just dragging a peaceful industry in this fiasco so grow up and think positively. Sometimes it feels like we are living in a country full of narrow minded and shallow people who only know how to show hatred!

OMG! why? please replace her forgod sake! now after insulting actors upside down they are trying to make things 'normal' between 2 countries? ban actors/ban business and please cut ties with pakistan because 'pakistani artists feeds terrorists.' bhai yehi sab karna tha toh drame ki kya zaroorat hoti hai? na visa ban hota hai kyunki visa ban kardo toh koi aye hi nahi.. sirf kuch dino ka drama shuru hojata hai..
