After Sanjay Dutt, it's Salman Khan's turn to face the music in court. He will soon be presenting himself in front of a judge to appeal against a five-year jail term, issued to him in April 2006, for hunting gazelle, a protected species, during a trip to Rajasthan. In February 2006, the same court had convicted the actor for killing two black bucks, a protected antelope species, during a hunting trip in 1998. Salman is out on bail.

But there are too many cases for the actor to dodge. He is also facing trial in Mumbai in a 2002 hit-and-run in which one person was killed and three others injured. Salman allegedly drove his vehicle into a group of homeless people sleeping on a pavement. Salman faces 10 charges, including causing death by negligent driving, which carries two years in prison. The actor has pleaded not guilty on all counts .
