Alia Bhatt Set To Charm The Audience With Her Cannes Red Carpet Debut

Alia Bhatt is set to make her debut on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year, representing beauty brand L'Oreal Paris as a global ambassador. She will be joining Aishwarya Rai at the festival, scheduled from May 13 to May 24. L'Oreal Paris is marking its 28th year of involvement with the prestigious film event.

Declaring the news, Alia chatted about being part of the event for the initial time. She uttered in a statement, as reported by news agency ANI.

There’s something absolutely special about firsts — and I’m so excited to make my Festival de Cannes debut this year, an iconic celebration of cinema and self-expression. It is such an honour to represent L’Oréal Paris at the Festival with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action’

Furthermore to its potent Indian representation, L'Oreal Paris shall be represented on the crimson carpet by Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Aja Naomi King, Andie MacDowell, Simone Ashley, Elle Fanning, Bebe Vio, and Yseult.

Recently, Alia was observed at the WAVES summit in Mumbai. With her attire, Alia commemorated Maharashtra Day. She donned a Paithani sari, draped in Maharashtrian fashion.

Fans shall witness Alia in her upcoming motion picture, Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is destined to be a noteworthy enhancement to Yash Raj Films' acclaimed spy universe and is scheduled for release on December 25. Aside from this, she additionally possesses Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War alongside Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal.
