Alia Bhatt reveals why she chose not to promote 'Heart of Stone'

The actor recently made her debut in Hollywood as well as we saw her sharing the screen with renowned figures like Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in Heart of Stone on Netflix.

Recently, on August 16, Alia Bhatt engaged with her admirers through an interactive #AskMeAnything session on her Instagram Stories. Her responses were loved by all as she addressed various questions from her ardent supporters. Among these inquiries was one that sparked curiosity about her absence from the promotion of "Heart of Stone" alongside Gal Gadot. Alia's candid reply shed light on the underlying reason for this absence.

Intriguingly, during the Instagram session, a curious fan inquired, "Why didn't we see you promoting your film with Gal?" Alia eloquently expressed, "As a team, we stand behind the SAG-AFTRA strike, and as a mark of solidarity, we haven’t been promoting the movie. However I’ve been seeing all your messages and the outpouring of love!! Thankful for you all and sending all the love right back to you."

For the unversed, "Heart of Stone," the gripping action spy thriller, narrates the tale of intelligence operative Rachel Stone (played by Gal Gadot). Tasked with retrieving the enigmatic and powerful "The Heart" from the clutches of a mysterious hacker and tech prodigy, Keya Dhawan (portrayed by Alia Bhatt), the film delves into the intricate world of espionage and intrigue.

Apart from this, the actress is set to collaborate with the likes of Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in Farhan Akhtar's directorial venture, "Jee Le Zaraa."
