Alia Bhatt Opens Up About Evolving Bond with Sister Shaheen Bhatt

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt recently reflected on her close relationship with her sister, Shaheen Bhatt. While the two now share a deep bond, Alia revealed that their connection wasn’t always this strong. In a candid moment, Shaheen attributed their past misunderstandings to their age gap.

In a YouTube video titled Sister Tag, Alia and Shaheen answered questions about their childhood. Alia admitted that although they’ve always had a strong bond, there was a phase when they didn’t get along. “We didn’t see eye to eye during that time,” Alia shared.

Shaheen explained that their age difference played a significant role in their early disagreements. She recalled how Alia, being younger, often reported her teenage mischief to their mother. “We weren’t close back then and didn’t share a friendship, but our bond has grown stronger over time,” Shaheen added.

On Shaheen’s birthday, Alia took to Instagram to express her love and appreciation for her sister. Sharing a sweet selfie, Alia donned a floral outfit, while Shaheen looked radiant in an orange dress. The heartfelt caption read, “Happy birthday, my life, @shaheenb. Honestly, life sucks without you. So glad you’re here!” Adding a playful note, Alia quipped, "Enjoy... now give me a kiss!”
