Alia Bhatt celebrates four years of Murad and Safeena: Pics

One such movie that set box office records and won over a lot of admirers was Gully Boy. Siddhant Chaturvedi made his feature film debut in the Zoya Akhtar-directed movie, which also marked the debuts of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Today the film marks its 4-year anniversary, and to commemorate the occasion, Alia Bhatt shared some lovely edits to mark the special day.

Taking to her Instagram stories the new mommy shared a lovely pen sketch of Ranveer aka Murad and Alia aka Safeena. While in the  next story she shared a artwork of herself and her famous dialouge 'Maar Jayenga Tu'. While her last story featured a skecth of all the well known rappers -Divine, Emiway and others. While she captioned it as '4 years of Gully Boy'.

The film also marked the first on screen collaboration of Alia and Ranveer and their pair was loved and cheered from all blocks.

For the unversed, the film's cinematography was done by Jay Oza, who has previously worked on projects like The Dewarists, Raman Raghav 2.0 and Anil Kapoor’s version of the hit American series 24. 

Talking on the workfront, Alia will soon be seen in Karan Johar's directorial comeback 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', co-starring Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. The film is set to release on July 28, 2023.

Besides, the actress is all set to mark her Hollywood debut with 'Heart of Stone', opposite Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. It will hit the theatres on August 11 this year
