Alia Bhatt wrapped up her Cannes 2025 appearance with two sharply contrasting fashion statements, drawing attention for both her vintage-inspired ensemble and Gucci’s India-rooted saree creation. The actress, making her debut at the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, became a talking point not just for style, but also for her participation in L’Oréal Paris’ “Lights on Women” initiative.

At the closing ceremony, Alia wore a custom Gucci saree embellished with Swarovski crystals. The design stood out for its intricate detailing and modern interpretation of Indian tradition. She paired the saree with a plunging-neckline blouse and completed the look with a striking neckpiece and matching earrings. What added intrigue was the use of the fashion house’s signature monogram embedded into the saree itself.

Before the saree moment, Alia turned heads in a striking retro outfit inspired by Audrey Hepburn. She wore a structured bustier crop top with a high-waisted pencil skirt. A printed silk scarf around her neck, oversized black cat-eye sunglasses, and a cream handbag with gold accents gave a nod to 1950s Hollywood glamour.
