Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi's Negativity Destroyed Aditya Kripalani's film

Filmmaker Aditya Kripalani has been making movies on social causes like gender equality, mental health and suicide prevention since the last 4 years. Recently Aditya’s film Tikli And Laxmi Bomb has been facing a massive negative backlash in ratings and comments from the haters of Akshay Kumar’s trailer Of Laxmmi Bomb. This is due to the confusion in the names that people are not being able to figure out.

Tikli’s rating was 4.3/5 and has taken a massive hit since the trailer launch.

On asking Aditya how did it affect his movie Tikli and Laxmi Bomb he had to say this,

So the problem is just that smaller films like ours build a reputation with lot of hard work by going to festivals winning Awards there if you're very lucky, and then the ratings of our films are by let's say a couple of thousand people will rate our films on an IMDb or on Google reviews, but for bigger films, it's much much more.

He further added how small films get badly affected due to negative ratings,

So our film gets really badly affected if let's say a hundred people go and rate a film badly or if even 50 people go and over 2-3 days give a film 1/5 on a Google ratings. It really affects our ratings.

On a concluding note, he shared how the negative hatred received by Akshay's laxmmi's led to his film's business being affected,

How that affects our business and our films is that when people see the film on Netflix the first thing they do is they go and check the IMDB ratings and Google reviews and then they decide whether you want to see the film or not. So unfortunately it affects the business of the film.
