Akshay Kumar shares the 'First Picture' from the sets of KESARI

Akshay Kumar's most ambitious film 'Kesari' has been the talk of the town ever since the first look was introduced to us by the actor himself. Kumar had received immense appreciation for his look which was nothing but highly intriguing. Portraying the character of a Sikh warrior, this film looks promising in all senses.

Today, Akshay gave as a glimpse of his film right from the sets of Kesari. Happily smiling with the three kids who portray Afghani kids, the picture makes for an adorable one. Akshay captioned the image with, "Innocent smiles galore on set today! Shooting with these lovely children playing Afghani kids in #Kesari based on the Battle Of Saragarhi, one of the bravest battles fought in India".

Akshay will be joined by Parineeti Chopra in the film as she plays the lead actress. Kesari is a film based on one of the bravest battles fought in India - 'The Battle of Saragarhi'. Akshay dons the character of a Sikh soldier in a turban while nothing has been revealed about Parineeti's character.

Backed by producer Karan Johar, the film is helmed by Anurag Singh. Kesari is slated to release in the festive season of Holi in 2019.
