Akshay Kumar, who was seen leaving everyone impressed with his kickass dance moves during The Entertainers in the US, recently got injured on the sets of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The incident occurred while he was shooting a high-octane action sequence with fellow actor Tiger Shroff in Scotland. The duo was reportedly pulling off a stunt when the injury occurred.

Although there are no reports of serious injury, Akshay is currently wearing braces on his knee. The action portions of the shoot have been put on hold temporarily, but Akshay is still shooting for the rest of the scenes, including his close-up shots, to avoid delays in wrapping up the Scotland schedule.

For the unversed, Akshay is known for doing his own stunts and avoiding body doubles, which has resulted in injuries in the past. However, he has always been passionate about his craft and continues to perform his stunts in films.

Well, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also features Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Sonakshi expressed her excitement about being a part of the film earlier.

The action flick also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. The film is said to be releasing on December 25 this year. While on the workfront, Akshay has an interesting slate of films. He has Capsule Gill, OMG:2 and Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake in his kitty.
