Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari' turns out to be one of the most anticipated films of 2018. The film is being produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions. Akki will be seen performing the character- Havaldar Ishar Singh who was a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers and fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.
Akshay is shooting in the Wai district of Maharashtra for the movie and has been facing issues because of Vanity Van Association Strike. Opposing Maharashtra Government's tax regulation, Bollywood Celebrity Vanity Van association went on an indefinite strike from December 10.
Meanwhile, on the sets of Kesari, Akshay Kumar had to manage without using the toilet for long hours. According to reports, the actor had to go to the nearby studio to use the toilet. The whole cast and crew are facing trouble because of the strike. The association is opposing Maharashtra government's rule which charges tax for each vanity van at Rs 5,000 square meter, amounting to Rs 1.25 lakh per annum. In other states, tax on vanity vans is not more than Rs 12,000 per annum.
Reportedly, the KJo has spent around Rs 2.50 lakh for a makeshift makeup room, but there is no toilet in it. A while back, Akshay escaped a tragic incident after a fire broke out on the sets of Kesari. Akshay had already left for the day before the broke out.
