Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn decline the offer to star in 'Viswasam' remake
The report stated that both the stars felt that the film is not suited for the Hindi audience.

In Bollywood, if there are two superstars who plan on or do more films than anyone else - it has to be the likes of Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. But a recent report suggests that both actors have turned the offer down to be a part of the remake of Viswasam, the Tamil superhit.
Producer Manish Shah, who is riding high on the mega success of Pushpa The Rise: Part 1 has bought the remake rights of the film apparently approached both Kumar and Devgn one after the other, but both of them declined.
The report stated that both the stars felt that the film is not suited for the Hindi audience.
Reportedly, the rights for the remake of the film were sold for Rs 4 crore. Shah even approached, Ekta Kapoor's production house to co-produce the film, however, as there was no big star on board, they refused the offer to co-produce. Shah also stated that he will be producing the remake with Sathya Jyothi Films who backed the original movie.
