Ajith and Prashanth Neel come together for their FIRST film? Here's all we know

Ajith Kumar is one of the South actors whose personality goes beyond his films. An action lover, his movies have an adrenaline rush and stamp, which is signature to Ajith. Since morning, there is buzz that Ajith Kumar might do a film with Prashanth Neel. The filmmaker who has made movies like the KGF series and Salaar is one of the masters of the action genre. Originally from Andhra Pradesh, Neel has made films in Kannada too. It would be a dream combination as Neel knows how to present a superstar like Ajith beautifully on the big screen. Over the years, Ajith has been working with the same makers so this would be a massive change.

Rumours of #AK64 being with Prashanth Neel began to do rounds since morning. But some handles like South film expert Ramesh Bala have said that while talks might have happened, Ajith Kumar and Neel have not signed up for anything. The film in question is a period drama loaded with action and emotion. Prashanth Neel is going to make his next movie with Jr NTR. The film is again a bloody saga with a rural setting. It seems this film of Ajith Kumar and Prashanth Neel will be a standalone movie.

Prashanth Neel also has Salaar 2 lined up. Prabhas and he dismissed all gossip of shelving the movie with a pic. Salaar made more than Rs 600 crores globally. In the second movie, we will see how Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran fight it out for the throne of Khamsaar.

Neel’s movies now have a cult base. He has mastered the big budget action films with elevation scenes, rousing BGM and jaw-dropping stunts. Ajith has done deadly stunts like motor bike chases in his movies even without body double/stuntmen. But Neel has a different version of action where there is a lot of bloodshed on screen. He has Vidaa Muyarchi coming up in October 2024 directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Then, there is Good Bad Ugly in January 2025 with Adhik Ravichandran.
