Raju Chacha, the comedy film that tickled audiences' funny bones upon its theatrical release in 2000, has now completed 23 years since its debut on December 21. Lead actor Ajay Devgn took to social media to commemorate the occasion, sharing heartfelt memories from the days of shooting and expressing gratitude for the opportunity.

In a nostalgic post on Instagram, Ajay Devgn fondly remembered his character in Raju Chacha, describing him as "a man deeply rooted in emotion." 

The film, directed by Anil Devgan, not only showcased Devgn's comedic prowess but also marked his first collaboration with legendary actor Rishi Kapoor.

Devgn expressed his gratitude for the chance to work on the movie, saying, "Reflecting on 23 years of #RajuChacha, a film that holds my heart for many reasons. Anil’s directorial debut paved the way for me to embody Raju, a man deeply rooted in emotion, despite walking on the wrong side of the law."

The actor also praised the fun-filled experience of working with kids for the first time on set and acknowledged his wife, Kajol, as his "steadfast partner on and off screen," providing unwavering support throughout the filming journey.

He further wrote, "This movie gave me the opportunity to work with kids for the first time, who made things so much more fun on set, and to share the screen with Rishi Ji for the very first time, a memory I’ll always hold close to my heart. And amidst it all, @kajol stood as my steadfast partner, on and off screen, offering unwavering support. As I look back, I can only feel gratitude for having been a part of this film! ✨🎥"

Soon after the actor dropped the post on his social media account, reminiscing Raju Chacha memories, his fans too gathered and hailed the ‘beautiful memories’ that the film gave cinema lovers.
