Ajay Devgn announces digital debut with 'Rudra - The Edge Of Darkness': Poster inside

A day ago, actor Ajay Devgn teased a surprise announcement on his social media with a video and stated that he has an exciting news to share with his followers.

On Tuesday, Ajay announced his digital debut with a crime thriller show titled ‘Rudra - The Edge Of Darkness'. While sharing the big news, he also unveiled the first poster of the series.

“Happy to announce the crime thriller of the year Hotstar Specials 'Rudra - The Edge Of Darkness'. This one’s going to be ‘killer’ @DisneyplusHSVIP #DebutDobara #Rudra”, wrote the actor.

As per reports, Rudra is the official adaptation of the British classic titled ‘Luther’ that starred Idris Elba in the original. 

After playing iconic cop roles through his career in Bollywood, actor Ajay Devgn will now be seen in an intense and gritty new cop avatar as he makes his grand entry into the digital space with his first-ever crime-drama series Rudra - The Edge of Darkness, coming soon on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. 

The Hotstar Specials series will soon be going into production and will be shot across iconic locales of Mumbai. An engaging and dark new take on cop stories, combined with a unique storytelling format and powerful characters will make Rudra - The Edge of Darkness a must-watch for fans of thrillers and crime-dramas.
