Aishwarya’s presence of mind saved her Manager’s life and not Shah Rukh Khan!

Bollywood’s Badshaah Shah Rukh Khan has been making the headlines for the past few days. Apart from his appearance in David Letterman’s show 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction', which was much appreciated by the audience, the actor was also praised for saving Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Manager’s life at a recent Diwali party thrown by the Bachchan’s themselves.

As reported earlier, SRK immediately rushed towards Archana Sadanand (Aishwarya’s Manager) when her Lehenga caught fire. Without thinking of the consequences he jumped in to rescue her, he removed his jacket and started to put out the fire with it. While doing so he himself got some minor injuries.

As reported by Mid-Day, soon after SRK put out the fire Archana was rushed to Nanavati hospital in the wee hours of the night and was admitted to the ICU to prevent any further infections. The doctor informed the daily that she sustained 15% burns.

A close source has revealed to the leading daily, “It was just after 3 am and a few guests were still around. Archana was with her daughter in the courtyard when her lehenga caught fire. Those around were stunned and didn't know what to do. Shah Rukh had the presence of mind, rushed to Archana, and put out the fire. He, too, sustained minor burns while dousing the flames with a jacket. His only thought was to put out the fire.”

Owing to his this heroic act Farah Khan and Salman Khan took to their official social media handle and praised the star.

But now according to the fresh reports from Times Of India, it was Aishwarya’s presence of mind that saved her manager’s life. As her lehenga caught fire, Aishwarya quickly ripped off Archana's clothes so that fire is off her body and then it was Shah Rukh Khan who removed his Sherwani to cover up Archana.

Archana’s close friend, as quoted by SpotboyE, told the leading daily, “While SRK did indeed jump into the fray to help Archana Sadanand by taking off his sherwani and got involved in the process too - I felt if it wasn’t for Aishwarya’s presence of mind the situation could have been much much worse for her— the fire was flaring up real quick and if she didn’t rip off Archana’s clothes like she did, to limit the damage - things could have turned out very different and graver than it is.”

Well, it doesn’t matter who became the hero, what matters is life was saved!
