After Taimur's name controversy, both Saif and I haven't thought of it: Kareena

Although Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's son Taimur Ali Khan has a massive fan following on social media, he is often targeted to sharp criticism for being a star kid. Let alone the name controversy that erupted during his birth. 

While the actress is pregnant with her second child, this time she has not thought of her baby’s name beforehand. Kareena revealed that she and her husband will wait for after the baby is born to name him/her.   

In a recent episode of What Women Want, Kareena discussed about the naming of the new baby with actor Neha Dhupia. 

Kareena said “After the whole controversy of Taimur, both Saif and me have not even thought about it. We’re like going to leave it last minute and then spring a surprise.”

During the conversation, Neha even suggested that she should hold a poll to decide the best name. However, Kareena maintained that she doesn’t want to go down that route. “I’m gonna tackle this right at the end,” she clarified.

For the unversed, soon after Saif announced Taimur Ali Khan’s birth, a raging debate broke out on Twitter over the name given to him by his parents. Many believed Saif shouldn’t have named his son after Timur, the Turkish ruler who invaded India. 

Saif even addressed the controversy in 2017 and said that he even thought of changing the name, however, Kareena was against it.  

It is speculated that Kareena and Saif will welcome the baby sometime in March.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she has finished her portion of the shoot for Laal Singh Chaddha, in which she stars opposite Aamir Khan.
