After Pushpa 2 Stampede: 2 Fans Die Following Ram Charan's Event; Dil Raju Offers 10 Lakh Aid

Two ardent fans of Ram Charan tragically lost their lives after attending the pre-release event of Game Changer in Rajahmundry. The event, held on Saturday night, was graced by Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, and Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister. Producer Dil Raju has extended financial assistance of ?10 lakh to the victims' families.

The two young men, Arava Manikanta (23) and Thokada Charan (22), hailed from Gaigolupadu in Kakinda. After the event, while heading home on their bike, they met with a fatal accident when a van from the opposite direction collided with them. Despite being rushed to Peddapuram Hospital, both succumbed to their injuries. Rangampeta police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

I just got to know that after the event, while returning, two members tragically passed away. Pawan Kalyan suggested alternatives for such events in the future, emphasizing how heartbreaking such incidents are after celebrations. Ram Charan and I insisted on this event. I pray their souls rest in peace and assure that we will support their families with ?5 lakh each.

Dil Raju also expressed his sorrow over the tragic incident. On the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Sri Venkateswara Creations, a post read, “Producer #DilRaju garu announced ?10 lakhs and assured support to the families of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in the accident following the #GameChanger event. Our deepest condolences to their loved ones in this difficult time.”

Pawan Kalyan, too, has pledged ?5 lakh each to the grieving families. The collective support aims to provide some relief to the bereaved in this challenging time.

This tragedy comes close on the heels of another incident at Pushpa 2’s benefit screening, where a stampede resulted in a fan’s death. With these recurring mishaps, safety at large-scale events is once again under scrutiny.
