Aditya Roy Kapur Dismisses Marriage with Diva Dhawan, Reveals the Truth behind Rumors

Recently, the rumors of Aditya Roy Kapur’s wedding made noise. He has been linked to model Diva Dhawan for the longest time, and it was reported that the alleged couple will tie the knot soon, in 2020. After keeping mum for the longest time, the actor has broken his silence over such reports and revealed the truth.

Aditya, who will be seen in Mohit Suri’s upcoming action thriller Malang, dismissed the marriage rumors and stated that he is not thinking of marriage at this point of time in his life. “She gave a nice statement, saying there is no truth to it and I reiterated it. I guess it gathered steam after we went out for dinner. We have been friends for years and hadn’t met in a while. But we got papped and that’s where it started from. Marriage is something far fetched for me. I am in no hurry,” he told Mumbai Mirror.

For the unaware, the rumors of Aditya and Diva’s relationship commenced after they were spotted together at a dinner date in 2018.  Later, the supermodel had shared a picture of herself kissing a mystery man on her Instagram story along with the caption “It’s Friday, I’m in love”, leading to conjecture that the man in the photo was Aditya.

The duo has always maintained their stance about their relationship status and stated that they are just good friends. Earlier, during a conversation with Karan Johar at his chat show, Aditya had cleared the air stating: “She’s a lovely girl and an old friend of mine. We met at a fashion show many years ago and we’re good friends. We went out for dinner one night at this famous restaurant that everyone is going to nowadays, Bastian. So we got papped and stories started. Completely false stories.”

However, a close friend has revealed that Diva is often spotted visiting Aditya at his residence!
