Celebrating his 49th birthday, actor Abhishek Bachchan had a special cake-cutting ceremony after watching the ISPL match between Majhi Mumbai and Falcon Risers Hyderabad with his father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Mumbai. Majhi Mumbai's official social media accounts also posted a collection of pictures and videos showcasing Abhishek's birthday celebrations.
As the actor arrived for his cake-cutting ceremony, the players were seen singing "Baar Baar Din Aaye." Following the celebration, Bachchan took the time to share cake with the paparazzi.
In the match, Mumbai continued their impressive streak in the Indian Street Premier League, Season 2, defeating Falcon Risers Hyderabad by four wickets and marking their seventh consecutive victory, according to the ISPL press release. Earlier that evening, KVN Bangalore Strikers showcased an outstanding batting performance from openers Ajaz Shaikhlal Bepari and Saroj Paramanik, dominating the Chennai Singams with a nine-wicket win in a completely one-sided encounter at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium on Wednesday.
Yesterday, Aishwarya Rai's birthday wish for her husband, Abhishek Bachchan caught the attention of fans, especially amid ongoing divorce rumours. On February 5, as Abhishek turned 49, Aishwarya shared an adorable childhood picture of him on her Instagram, paired with a heartfelt message.
In the post, she wished him a birthday filled with "happiness, good health, love and light." She captioned it with: "Here's wishing you Happy Birthday with happiness, good health, love, and light God Bless"
Abhishek's professional journey includes some recent releases. He was last seen in "I Want to Talk," directed by Shoojit Sircar, which premiered in November 2024 and is now available for streaming on Prime Video. Additionally, he appeared in Ajay Devgn's period drama "Azaad," which was released on January 17.
