Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is getting a lot of love and adulation from the fans. The viewers are in the awe of Abhimanyu and Akshara’s chemistry. Actors Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod have been successful in making a space in the audiences’ heart.

The current track of the show revolves around Abhimanyu and Akshara’s relationship suffering because of Aneesha and Kairav. In the previous episodes, Abhimanyu gave a beautiful surprise to Akshara on the Valentines’ Day. Apart from Abhimanyu and Akshara’s love angle, Abhimanyu’s pure bond with his mother Manjiri Birla is also quite talked about. The mother-son bond has been very well established and people love to see their scenes.

India Forums got in touch with actor Harshad Chopda and asked him about shooting scenes with Manjiri played by actress Ami Trivedi. Harshad said, “Our scenes have a resonance because she is a very capable and talented actress. We have a tacit understanding and a lot of things are spontaneous and, on the spur,”.

Ami had shared her thoughts on playing Harshad’s onscreen mother. She had said, “I’m enjoying the character as it’s quite contrary to what I’ve played before. It’s something I want to know and learn about my self as an actor, so, it’s a lot of fun. As far as the age gap is concerned, it doesn’t seem like that one I’m dressed up as the character. When I’m performing a scene, everything else dissolves, the only thing that stays in my mind is that I’m his mother and he is my son. That’s it”.
