5 Shows that copied scenes from Bollywood!

There are many situations when a writer runs out of creative ideas. This is the point in the show when the show either starts dropping its viewership or resort to something else. That something else is Bollywood. With Bollywood films coming out every week, TV show writers have a lot of references to work on. But to take a reference doesn't mean to create a replica! TV shows have recently started showing scenes that are identical to the ones in Bollywood! Here are 5 shows that have scenes copied from Bollywood!

1. "The Chennai connection' in 'Yeh hai Mohabbatein'.

This show tops the list of copycats! The temple scene was an exact replica of the one shown in the movie 'Chennai Express'. The show had also picked up a scene in which Raman and his friends wake up in a messy room, half naked after a bachelor party.. just like shown in a HOLLYWOOD film 'The Hangover'. Recently the possession track , in which Ishita is possessed by Shagun also duplicated a lot of scenes that have been inspired by films like 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' and the Bollywood horror flick '1920'.

 

2. The epic 'Vo Aa Gaya' moment in 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi'.

This is the most recent entry in this list. When the real Ranveer returns home, his mother automatically gets the feeling that her son is back. Just like it happens in the film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam'. And to make it more obvious, they even played the similar music track in the scene!

 

3.  The spice attack in 'Sasural Simar Ka'.

'Sasural Simar Ka' had a track in which Simar and Roli are being harassed by a goon. They befriend the local village women and attack the goon with red chilly powder! A similar scene was seen in the film 'Mirch Masala'.

 

4.  Awesome threesome in 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan'.

Copying from not so famous movies is still digestible, as there are chances of it getting unnoticed.. but when you copy from iconic films, everyone loses their Mind! They copied the famous 'Kuch Kuch Hota hai' scene in which Shahrukh Khan holds Rani Mukherjee's hand, while comforting Kajol.

 

5.  A glimpse of 'Aashiqui' on  Kumkum Bhagya.

'Kumkum Bhagya' is indeed an interesting show, but just like the other shows on this list, this one too has copied a scene or two.. and that to from a very popular movie that goes by the name of 'Aashiqui 2'! The iconic couple getting cozy underneath an apparel scene in 'Kumkum Bhagya' did remind us of the poster scene of the film. However, in 'Aashiqui' the actors went under the jacket due to rain, whereas in this show, the actors went under the duppatta just for the sake of it!
