Dipika Kakar diagnosed with liver cancer: Shraddha Arya, Jayati Bhatia, Avika Gor and others pour prayers

Yesterday, Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar shared an emotional Instagram post revealing her battle with stage 2 liver cancer. Following severe stomach pain, doctors found a tumor "the size of a tennis ball" in her liver, later confirmed as cancerous. The news has deeply shocked her fans and well-wishers. Dipika's former co-stars and industry friends have responded with prayers for her swift recovery.

Upon Dipika's Instagram announcement, co-stars and colleagues, including Gauahar Khan, Pankhuri Awasthy, Arti Singh, Delnaaz Irani, Gaurav Khanna, Rajiv Adatia, Jayati Bhatia, and Megha Dhade, sent messages of support and strength.

Shraddha Arya sent her heartfelt prayers for Dipika. She wrote in the comments section, 'Prayers and lots of love.' Celebrity Masterchef winner Gaurav Khanna penned, "Be strong Dipika.. we all have u in our prayers.. u wil definitely defeat it .. never loose hope .." Dipika’s Sasural Simar Ka co-star Avika Gor prayed for her speedy recovery, saying, "Praying for your speedy recovery di."

Bigg Boss fame Kamya Punjabi also sent her prayers, "All my prayers for you Dipika. Jaldi se thik ho jao." Arti Singh assured her she would be fine, "You wil be fine ..prayers for u, AAP Bilkul theek ho jaoge." Juhi Parmar sent healing wishes, prayers, and strength, "Sending you healing.. prayers and strength."

Megha Dhade, who shared a screen space with Dipika on Bigg Boss 12, said," Dipi kuchh nahi hoga tumhe... mai bass itna janti huu ki tum bohot achchi insan ho aur achchhe logo ki bhagwan pariksha lete kapoor hai par unka kuch bura nahi ho sakata . We all are praying for you ..!!! Bappa Bless You. Jaldi se thik hojagi tum , ghabarana nahi bilkul."

"As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us… walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach… and then finding out its a tennis ball size tumour in the liver and then Finding out that the tumour is Second stage Malignant (Cancerous) … it has been one of the most difficult time we have seen, experienced!,"Dipika wrote.

"I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger InshaAllah! With my entire family being by my side … and All the LOVE and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you I will sail through this too!,"she added.

She concluded the post with: “InshaAllah, Keep me in your prayers! Lots Of Love. Dipika."

Dipika also shared the news in a YouTube vlog with her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim. The couple discussed the emotional toll the diagnosis has taken on their family, particularly on their one-year-old son, Ruhaan.

"Cancer is a scary word for everybody. For the patient as well as the family. But the doctors have said that I’ve gotten this illness at a time when it can be cured very easily. We are just being strong," she said.

Shoaib also mentioned Ruhaan's reaction, describing him as "sensible" and noting that he seemed to sense something was amiss. "His feeding has completely stopped," Shoaib shared. Dipika added that Ruhaan understood she wasn't well, occasionally mentioning it, but that they were staying strong with the support of others.

Shoaib also stated that, by the grace of Allah, the scan results were clear, with no spread of the virus or its cells beyond the tumor. He explained that the doctors believed everything was under control, but ultimately, Allah knows best.

Dipika's last appearance was in the first season of Celebrity MasterChef India. She underwent surgery earlier this month to remove the tumor. Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, has been keeping fans informed about her condition via their YouTube channel and social media, expressing thanks for the continued support.
