Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 will be on TV screens in a few hours and we cannot contain the excitement. The classic show is making a comeback and we have been constantly updating readers with all the latest developments. Back in the day, Kasautii Zindagi Kay was a cult, a show almost every Indian household with a television set had seen. It had something for every family member and the huge fan base stood testimony to its timeless appeal.

The show has a nostalgic flavour for every TV fan.

For those of you who watched the show as a family or those who have vague childhood memories of the soundtrack flitting through the air in the evenings, this one has a nostalgic flavour. Most of the viewers have been 90s kids who grew up on old school shows like these. Having a walk down memory lane will certainly be surreal as the show returns to the screen after more than a decade. The reboot has retained some of the motives of Kasautii like the red duppatta and it will be interesting to see how the old time charm is retained.

It brings a whole new generation of actors

While Kasautii immortalized certain characters and earned the actors accolades, it's now time to let another generation give it a shot. It will be interesting to see how the new lot plays out the characters we know and love. We think, viewers will be in for a surprise.

Anurag and Prerna will be played by Parth Samthan and Erica Fernandes. The good looking actors make for a promising pair but, what makes it more interesting is that theirs is a new pairing. We haven't seen how the bond and chemistry between the two works so it will be intriguing to find out how their pairing plays out on screen.

The mystery around Komolika is alluring.

All we have as a reference for Komolika's character is a choli-clad back. The iconic vamp has be teased for the longest time in Ekta Kapoor's stories and fandoms have been bubbling with speculations and theories. While we have a fair idea of who the actress playing Komolika is, we haven't got a good look at her yet. It's mysterious and the teasers have a certain allure to them.

The secrecy has added to the hype

Makers of Kasautii took their time dropping revelations and updates regarding the upcoming show. A huge part of the hype is created due to the unknown factors. We don't know how much the plot retains and how much of it will be new and improvised. This time, the hype is real!
