20 Years of K3G: Karan Johar reminisces his biggest multi-starrer 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum'

Karan Johar, a name now everybody knows for all the reasons - continues to have everyone remember how he is primarily a director before being a TV personality.

For Johar, even though he has made only six films, most of them have been iconic enough to be remembered forever. But one film that made what he is today and continues to have a legacy is the Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Johar debuted as a director with the massive blockbuster and went on to follow up with a bigger and probably the most ambitious film, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum.

The film not only assembled a brilliant starcast together but became a cult where scenes from the film are remembered even today.

And talking about today, the will now completes 20 years. Johar reminisced the film as he captioned, ''It’s going to be 20 years and I still feel the euphoria of having this film release on the big screen and people going to watch it. But I feel the impact sank in for me much later. And that feeling hasn’t stopped ever since. I see all the videos, all the occasions this film’s music is a part of, all the dialogues people have now inculcated in their daily life and of course - the fashion!! On the work front, Johar is directing Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. The film also stars Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.
