'12th Fail' Box Office: Vikrant Massey starrer scores higher than Monday; refuses to slow down

One of the most acclaimed films of the year, 12th Fail continues to grow from strength to strength at the box office. The film, which began on a meagre note in terms of the numbers, has continued to rake in huge numbers consistently and has only gotten better with every passing day.

On Tuesday, the film achieved a remarkable milestone by earning 1.40 crores net, surpassing its Monday collections. The Vikrant Massey starrer has now amassed a total of 24.16 crores net, firmly establishing its place in the hearts of moviegoers.

The success of 12th Fail and its continued march at the box office has restored the faith that the audience laps up good content when it comes along and isn't just the mega films that get people flocking to the theatres. 12th Fail, based on a true story, draws from the struggles of the millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam. But at the same time, it goes beyond that one exam and encourages people not to lose heart in the face of failure and to restart. 

The film, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, is now released in cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. 12th Fail has another few clear days ahead before the mammoth Tiger 3 arrives. The partial weekend that includes Friday and Saturday will help boost the film's collection even further as Tiger 3 arrives on Sunday, 12th November 2023.
