Set in Rewari, Haryana. Molkki began with how a poor girl Purvi is compelled to marry Virendra Pratap Singh, a widowed father of two kids but also the honcho of the village. However, the struggle begins when Purvi realizes that he has several hurdles to overcome – including being liked by the family and furthermore by her husband, who vows to not let anyone in his life looking at her dead wife’s photo frame. But just as they gradually start falling in love, Sakshi, Virendra’s first wife re-enters their life and now awaits more twists and turns.
