On 31^st December, Mehak was so busy with Vicky at White Chilies for the New Year party. All staff have been briefed accordingly and menus has been decided. All liquor and alcohols section decided by Vicky. Mehak was rushing here and there, the deco people busy setting up the restaurant. All preparations going on high speed. Mehak notice Shaurya isn't there. She asked Vicky but he said, bhaiya didn't mention anything bhabhi. She decided to call and check on his whereabouts. He answered saying he is busy with preparations. Mehak didn't understand what preparations are you doing? We all busy at restaurant here give us a helping hand at least. He replied her this also important preparations going on here so I am here, will be there shortly and hang up. Mehak mumbles to herself what could be so important than this party here.

Shaurya came in after sometimes he went straight to look for Mehak who is still busy instructing the decorations team to hang the decos. Mehak startled as he suddenly hold her waist. She turned and look at Shaurya and asked questions in one go, where did you? Why so late? What preparations is so important but not White Chilies New Year party. He smiled at her and ask her be patience and he will answer her one by one. He answered all her questions except the last question he try to twist and turn something. He walked to Vicky and Priya ask them to handle as he and Mehak will be attending Investor's New Year party. He ask Mehak lets go. Mehak wonders where why are we leaving early. He place his index finger on her lips and say today you won't ask anything just listen to me only, but started Mehak no buts and nothing, just follow me. Mehak nodded with a smile. He holds her hand and walks towards the car. He opens the door and makes her sit and close the door walks to the driver side. He starts the car and they were on road. The road was not leading to Khanna mansion but to a different area. Mehak asked anxiously where are we going Shaurya, he replied her I said no questions. She pouted at him and listen to the song and humming happily. He stopped by at a spa. Mehak looked confused. He gets down and open the door for her ask her to come down. He walks her in to the spa. Mehak kept asking what is it Shaurya? Why are we here? He ask her to wait and approach the reception counter and ask for his appointment for Mrs Khanna. The receptionist ask her wait a moment your spa therapist will be here shortly. Shaurya turned to Mehak and continues you enjoy massage, manicure , pedicure and everything then I have already send your today's dress earlier here, so you wait and they will call me once you are ready, I will come to pick you up okay? Her jaw dropped. He quickly kissed her on her forehead, you will love it. Just then she want to say something a petite lady came to her and ask her follow her to her treatment room. Shaurya asked her to go ahead he will come soon to pick her up. She smiled at him and followed the therapist.

Inside the therapy room, the therapist give her a robe and ask her to change and enjoy the pamper session. Mehak started her massage session, then with facial session follows with manicure and pedicure. They offered her some sandwiches and fruits in between. Once all done, they lead her to a Jacuzzi pool filled with colorful flowers she entered the pool and enjoyed her pool bath. She was overwhelmed with the arrangements Shaurya arranged for her. She comes out with her robe. She saw a beautiful red anarkali gown on the room with a note, jaan hope you enjoyed the pamper session now get dressed you will love the rest of the evening. She smiled and put the note away and dress up. The therapist came into help her to make up her and did her hairstyle. Mehak wants to remain with her locks down so they just applied heat to curl up a little on the hair. She is done and the therapist came in to inform her that her hubby is here to pick her up. Mehak gets up and walks slowly and they lead her to the exit, Shaurya was waiting with Red Tuxedo and white linen shirt. He was taken aback by her beauty and how she looks stunning in her red anarkali. The lightweight material even flapped perfectly in the wind when Mehak gave a twirl. She asked innocently how she look at Shaurya he was in trance and Mehak snapped at him. Shaurya how I look? Shaurya leaned to her and said I am falling in love all over again. Mehak blushed and her cheek turn red. He makes her to sit in the car and they left to the hotel for the party. They reached Shangri La Delhi at Connaught Place. Upon arriving the hotel lobby, the security came to open the door for Mehak and Shaurya. They came out from car and Shaurya put his arm around Mehak's waist and walk into the hotel. The hotel's architecture, inspired by the work of Edwin Lutyen, one of the greatest British architects of the twentieth century. Mehak stunned seeing the most sophisticated ambience. They arrived at the party ballroom. Shaurya and Mehak welcomed by the host and other guests. Shaurya introduced Mehak to the investors. She greeted them. Waiters came to offer them drinks and both had mocktails together. There are variety of specialty cuisines from Europe, Southeast Asian, Japan and India served during the party. Shaurya accompanied Mehak asking her to try some of them. He makes her to sit and enjoy the meal as he will be right back, he was having some discussion with the investors on some business matters. He looked at Mehak who is looking at him and gently smiled at her. She smiled back at him and talks to the others while waiting for him to come. The Emcee announced that dance floor will start now and get ready. Shaurya came to Mehak and ask for her hand as a gesture for dance. As the music starts both danced follow the rhythm gracefully. Both their eyes locked on each other. Shaurya's hand grips on her waist harder Mehak with the head turned slightly downwards and facing away while looking upwards and holding a tight lipped smile she looked more innocent, juvenile, playful and secretive. The shy smile makes Shaurya's heart beat fast. Shaurya lean closer to her and say near her ears you are like angel today my very own angel. Mehak cups his face and say thank you Shaurya for all the surprises, he replied there is still some more surprises so save the thank you for later. She looked at him with a bright smile. The music over and all clapped. Later one of the investor called for Shaurya and they made a toss for the upcoming year. Mehak look at him attentively. Then a waitress came to Mehak and gave a note to her, she open and it's from Shaurya saying your next surprise is waiting follow this person. She lift her head up and Shaurya is not seen anywhere. The waitress asked Mehak to follow her. She followed her. The waitress leads her into the lift and press the lift level. Then the lift wide opens at the top floor. The top floor is all the premier suites located. Mehak followed her, and she knows Shaurya is always up to some surprises. The waitress open the door to a suite and wished her enjoy her stay madam. Mehak surprised to see the arrangements. The room filled with fresh flower petals and scented candles. Mehak walked into the room which is luxuriously furnished with modern facilities and the suite .She saw another envelope it says good things comes when you wait, so please be patience my love. Mehak walked to the balcony. It was breathtakingly beautiful feature panoramic views. She sees the entire city of Lutyen's Delhi with bright lights and all the central administrative area of the city including Rashtrapathi Bhavan, India Gate and many more historical architectures.

Just then a familiar arm came behind Mehak and wrapped her up. Mehak turn and see Shaurya. He sees Mehak have so many questions so he quickly responded her by telling his plans We will be spending our New Year here, I already get our clothes earlier here so all done and we celebrate the New Year. He holds by her lower waist In his husky voice, he said Mehak the past 1 year many things happen between us, we fell in love, I did so many things which a man shouldn't do, I have been a jerk all the time fought with you every time, I treated you badly, but after I fell in love with you, you become the light of my life, you fill my heart and all over my soul with your love. Every single day my love for you grow more and more. I am drowned in your love. We got married, we went thru so many ups and downs. But you thought me how to handle every situations calmly. When I am worried you took away my sorrows, when I was sick you been my medicine, you were the reason for my smile. You were the reason for me to being alive. You are my center of universe. No matter who were there for me I know my Mehak will be there for me. I just want to start this New Year in a special way. Mehak stands in dazed hearing each words from Shaurya. He started counting 10 and give a kiss on below her right neck, then 9 to her left neck, 8 at her right ear lobe, 7 at her left ear lobe. 6 at her right cheek, 5 at her left cheek, 4 at her chin, 3 at her forehead, 2 at her nose and 1 he said Happy New Year jaan and captured her lips with a passionate kiss. Fireworks brightened the entire skyline. Screaming of people with New Year wishes all around the town. Mehak reciprocate to his kiss and he felt her arms snaking behind his nape and her fingers now buried in his hair. Both break off from the kiss as they need to breath. Mehak kissed on his forehead and said I love you Shaurya and hid her face on his chest and he wraps his around her. He nuzzled at the softness of her neck. They commence the New Year in a sweet romantic gestures. He keep her in his warmness and both admired the fireworks took selfie. Mehak thanked Shaurya for being her husband, her friend and everything in her life. In the end she said you are full and full craziness, I never ever imagined to celebrate New Year like this in my life. He kissed her and bring her back to the room as its gets chilly outside. He lock the balcony door and lead her to the TV room where there is array of sweet desserts like churros, cakes, pastries and hot chocolate fondue on the table. Mehak's eye open in temptations. Shaurya dipped a large strawberry into the chocolate fondue and offered to Mehak. Later both sat together and fed each other the sweet delicacy with love and made more love till dawn.

Next morning Mehak wakes up and she opens the curtain of the room, bright sunrays hits the bed and Shaurya cover himself with the blanket. Mehak goes to him and enters the blanket, and lie near to him wishing him with kisses Happy New Year patidev. He open his eyes faintly and roll her over to his side and caresses her with his stubbles which makes her giggles out. She struggles and ask Shaurya to let her go but he said I won't today we will be on the bed whole day like this. Then he ask her for a kiss, Mehak eyes twinkled and query him back yesterday night you had lots of kiss still not enough is it? Shaurya said I will never say is enough I need more and more. He just captured her lips again and make her loss herself in him again.

After all the cute romantic sessions, both freshen up and was at the dressing table. Shaurya came behind her. She showed him the neck and shoulder what he did to her last night. She need to cover with concealer and shawl so no one can see. He smiled and replied her my body also got scratch marks because there was wild cat on my bed which did all these to me. Mehak's eye open in bewilderment. She gently hit on his arms and both went to the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast. They enjoyed their breakfast session and walked around the hotel sprawling lawn hand in hand enjoying the fresh air. In between the cute fights which they always have. Then they left to Khanna mansion.

They reached home and saw Karuna maa and Dolly maasi at the hall. Both greeted and get their blessings and wish them Happy New Year. Karuna maa told them you both should go out and enjoy instead coming so early. My friend's kids all out of town to celebrate New Year so I am going to meet her and celebrate with them. Shaurya smiled at Mehak. Karuna maa called Awara and the other servants at home and told them to take a day off to rest and enjoy New Year. They were so happy and thank them left. Karuna maa with Dolly maasi too left. Shaurya looked at Mehak mischievously. Mehak tried to look at other place, he asked in low voice , all left its only you and me all alone she tap on his shoulder ask him to behave last night not okay is it? Your mind is always on one track. He pulled her closer to her and said when hot wife is here what can I do don't blame me. Mehak gently hit Shaurya on his tummy with her elbow. She ask him to behave himself and do some work. She also got some work to do. He came nearer to her she pushed him and goes off from there. Mehak busy with her IPad and taking some notes for the menus and writing in a note pad. While Shaurya sitting with his laptop and checking on his work. Both busy with their work. Mehak got an idea how to change some layouts in White Chilies and creating new menus for the upcoming year. She list down new menus and her ideas.

Just then as she was busy PD called Shaurya. He greeted her and ask how her wellbeing is. PD wished him Happy New Year and asked how all is and Mehak. He came to the bed where Mehak sitting and doing her work. He pull the IPad from her and lie on her lap. He continue talking to her and keeping Mehak's hand on his chest. He put the mobile on speaker mode. Mehak talks to PD. PD asked how you are laddoo. Together with PD, Sonal, Mohit and Nehal talk to her asking about her New Year celebration. Sonal asked baby where your saiyaan is. Mehak's eye widened because Sonal is not aware that Shaurya is there only. She interrupts not to say anything. But Sonal not listening to her. She continue so madam how is New Year celebration, Mehak tries to cut the call but Shaurya manage to keep the phone away from her reach. Sonal asking I want every details Mehak shouted Sonal hang up the call now I will talk to you later. Sonal replied her now madamji become so ego don't want to talk to me, let it be I will not talk to you and she hang up the call. Shaurya gets up and searching for Mehak's eye. Mehak's eye was low and she felt embarrassed with what happen. She was biting her lower lip and tries to run away from him. Both run around the room and Mehak climbed on the bed and try to run away from him. Shaurya fall on the bed but Mehak jumped from bed and runs from the room, just then Shaurya screech in pain. Mehak gets panic and runs to Shaurya's side and asked him is it injured and where is it pain. He continue to winces in pain. She kept querying him where pain is it the back pain want to call doctor or not? Just then he managed to capture her who was now lying on top of him. Her hands on his chest and hitting him continuously. Why you always like to trick me like this, my heart stopped a while. He bring her head closer and give a quick peck on her lips and tuck her hair behind her ears. He continues when you blush and gets embarrassing I love to see you like this. Now you are angry and I want to pacify you. She continues to hit his chest. He captured her wrist and blow air on her. She pouted at him. He holds her both hands and her back and asked her what is Sonal is asking and you are hiding from your husband, she struggles from his hold. He ask her to tell what is Sonal is asking again, if you don't tell me then I won't let go. Mehak started to plead him to let go is nothing Sonal is just crazy will talk rubbish all the time. Shaurya said nowadays you have more secrets to me not fair baby. Mehak's cheeks gets darker in embarrassment. She knows if she don't tell Shaurya won't let her go. Then she opens up, yesterday she messaged me New Year wishes and asked me how you are celebrating so I replied her about our celebration yesterday with investors that's all. So she asking after that how we celebrated after that that's why I cut the call. He roll her to the side and he turn to her. You girls are so naughty talking all kind of weird things. I didn't expect this from you Mrs Khanna. Mehak quickly said no I didn't do anything its just Sonal she like to talk all these funny stuffs. I can't talk about this all. She pouted at him. He quickly pecked on her lip and look at her cuteness. Mehak mockingly pushed him. I know you can't talk like that or anything because you are unromantic. Mehak gets irritated and gets up from the bed he pull her hand and make her sit on his lap. Okay baba I won't say anything, I am sorry now let's not fight on New Year. No fighting's and arguments okay? Mehak pecked on his cheek and asked him to discuss on the ideas she is planning for White Chilies.

Both sat together and discuss on the ideas. Shaurya give some suggestions on the menus and they started to list on the methods and ingredients. Both spend time together curating new menus. Mehak suggested that she should practice at kitchen to check on the flavors and how balance is it the taste. After they decide on this, Mehak suggested on the change of layouts in White Chilies, how to change the current sittings, cash counters and salad bars. He suggested her to check with Vicky and do them because you are the boss. She said thank you patidev and cling on to his arms. He asked her lets go to kitchen to cook something or you want to go out. She suggested to cook and both went to kitchen. Mehak checks the fridge and her notepad, she decides to try to cook the menu which she shortlisted for White Chilies. She start preparing to chop the vege and gets the pan out for the cooking. She saut the chopped onions and ask Shaurya to stir, he listened to her obediently. She add in more vege and ask him to monitor the flame so it won't burnt the vege. Mehak took over the stove and Shaurya came to the side, she scoop some food and gently blow air to cool down She tasted the food and made some mental note. Then she add in some spices and offer to Shaurya to try. He swallow the spoonful and try to get the flavors all on taste bud. Mehak waited patiently for his remarks. He commented its good and he liked it and don't mind to have it another one more. Mehak's eyes twinkled in excitement and scoop more and blow to cool down and feed to Shaurya. Then she asked Shaurya to get the wheat flour to make rotis from the top shelf. He pass the container to her. She started to take the flour and put in the container and boils some milk and ghee to add into the rotis. She gets to knead the dough and Shaurya hugged her from back nuzzling her. She asked what he is doing. He answered my sexy wife cooking and I am helping her. She continue with the dough but can't concentrate as Shaurya's proximity is making her goes weak. He kept distracting her by blowing air on her neck. Nuzzling her, resting his chin on her shoulder. She rested the dough and ask Shaurya to stop romancing in kitchen or else instead sugar she will add salt in halwa. She took the carrots to make gajjar Ki halwa. She ask Shaurya to help to grate the carrots. Strong muscle man like you must do this, she pass the carrots and grater. He smirked at her and started to grate the carrots. In between Mehak hum songs and check the other dough. She saw Shaurya busy with the carrots. She back hugged him and kissed on his neck asking him be quick. Shaurya smiled and finishes grating the carrots. Mehak took them and started with the halwa making. Shaurya ask her to do other work and he will do the halwa. She asked him are you sure, he replied you can trust me I can do this, now you do the rotis. So she went to roll the rotis and started toast them on the tawa. In between she ask Shaurya to add in the ingredients. Mehak done with all, and Shaurya start to plate them and bring them to dining table to eat. He came to kitchen and saw Mehak's face and started to laugh uncontrollably. Mehak asked why you laughing, he took his mobile and took her picture, there is flour on her cheeks and nose. She grab on to his shoulder and rub her cheeks on his bearded cheek, he try to stop her but he melts with her cuteness. Now we look even Mehak tell him, he laughed and went to wash basin to wash off the flour, Mehak wiped off the water with her duppatta.

Both sat together and enjoyed their special meal which they cooked together first time. Shaurya feed her in between. Mehak feed the halwa and Shaurya compliment he loved the desserts prepared by her. It's not too sweet and the texture is just nice. Both enjoyed their moments together with sweetness and lots of love.

Next day Mehak and Shaurya had investors coming into White Chilies for meetings and Shaurya wants to serve them the best. Mehak busy at kitchen with the chefs and guiding them on how to prepare the new snack and desserts. Investors start coming in one by one, Mehak and Shaurya invited them happily. As all gather at the meeting area in White Chilies, one of the investor announced that there is a new investor has joined their group recently and she will be joining too for this meeting. In 10 minutes the new investor entered White Chilies too. As all other investors introducing and getting to know each other with her, Shaurya sees her and gets a tremendous shock. His face color changes immediately. Another investor introduce her to Shaurya as MS Archie Bhasin. Archie interrupts hi Shaurya how are you? It's been quite a while we didn't meet. Investors asked them in surprise you know him, she replied with snicker who would not recognize the famous hotelier and food empire owner Shaurya Khanna. Mehak saw Shaurya he doesn't look good. She excuse herself as they start with their meeting but Shaurya ask her to stay in meeting.

During the meeting session, Mehak look at Shaurya who looked quite uncomfortable and restless. Meeting went well and ends, Mehak signed at the waiters to start serve them the refreshments. Refreshments were arranged on the table and all started to enjoy them. They asked for some of the menus ingredients and how is it been made. Mehak with the chefs explained to them. She try to look for Shaurya but he still looked disturbed and not focused. As the meeting over the investors left White Chilies, she move towards Shaurya and asked him why he is looking restless and during meeting also he was not focused. He just ignored her and say he have something and left White Chilies.

Mehak wonders why he is behaving like this. Never she seen Shaurya like this. Surely something is bothering him or else he will not be like this. She had meeting with the chefs and ask them to try the other recipes which she created and get their feedbacks. Chefs were delighted to hear some new ideas and they immediately went to kitchen and started to prepare some of the dishes. As noon approached the restaurant gets busy during lunch. Mehak suggested to serve some small portion to the guest and get their feedback so we will know their opinion too. Mehak approached some guest and introduce the dish is something new that she and her team are working on and she want to get some genuine opinions so she wants the guest to comment on them. She gathers all their feedbacks and made note mentally.

Once evening all settled, she remembered that Shaurya is not back yet she called his mobile but it went to voicemail. She puts the mobile away and saw Vicky and asked if Shaurya called him because is now going to voicemail. He didn't speak to bhaiya after the meeting as well. Mehak discussed with Vicky about the restaurant new layout and how to arrange new sitting arrangements etc. Vicky and Priya listened to her and started to move some furniture to see how it goes.

Vicky and Mehak comes back to Khanna mansion and Mehak saw Shaurya's SUV is still not there. She wonders where he is. She enters house and saw Karuna maa and Dolly maasi at living area. She went to greet them. They asked her how her day was and ask her to freshen up and come for dinner. Karuna maa asked where is Shaurya, she replied he went out earlier for some errands but not back to White Chilies also his mobile went to voice mail. They ask her not to worry and get freshen up. She heads to her room and remove her bangles and earrings. After freshen up she came downstairs. At dining table they chit chatting and enjoyed dinner together. They saw Shaurya came in and Karuna maa called him but he ignored her and went upstairs straight away. Mehak and Karuna maa with Dolly maasi looked confuse and said maybe he had a hard day that's why he is upset. Maybe you should bring his dinner upstairs suggested Dolly maasi to Mehak. After she finish her food she took some food and went upstairs. She looked for Shaurya in the room and he came out from the bathroom. She stand there wait for him to say something but he just moved brushing past her and sat at the sofa on their room with his mobile. Mehak understand he is not in good mood hence she went near him, she sat next to him and ask him he wants to eat, he replied that he already had dinner outside. She puts the plate away and ask what happen since morning you didn't look good seems like something bothering you. I know the meeting all went well but something else is bothering you. He gets up and walks away from her. She holds his hand he ask her to leave him alone. I can manage things on my own. Mehak was slightly hurt by his word. She called him Shaurya but he walked away from the room. She sat on the sofa wondering what would have happen and he is very upset. Soon she fell asleep waiting for Shaurya.

When she woke up in the morning and saw Shaurya is not there. She wonders where is he, did he left early morning? Then he comes into the room and walks to the bathroom straight away without giving Mehak a look. She waited for him to come out, he dressed quickly and Mehak went to hug him from back while he was at the dressing table. Good morning patidev, do you remember me? I am your laddoo, your Mehak? He jerk her hold away and with an angry tone shouted why you always behaving like a child when will you grow up. Just leave me alone. Mehak stunned hearing this her eyes moisten with tears. He left from the room. She was still in her shock situation, the way Shaurya spoke to her, he loved the way she is and usually he never say such thing. She wiped her eyes and went to shower. She came downstairs and found Shaurya already left. She asked Awara he said he didn't even had his breakfast but left in hurry. She asked where Karuna maa and Dolly maasi both went for temple. Mehak took auto and goes to White Chilies sadly wondering why what happen to Shaurya suddenly.
