The date was absolutely beautiful, although I hope Mel was right in assuming that Mehek didn't tell her the full story else I will be as disappointed as Shaurya certainly was. The LBD deserved more than a PG13 night out😉 😆.
SK's concern for Mel is touching. I love the sibling like bond they share.
So now that Shaurya knows for certain that Malik is not interested in his Mehek, he is full of empathy for him.😆. This is the same man SK spent several sleepless nights worrying and googling about. 😆
The ring shopping threw me a little. I thought he would give her more time before popping the question considering their past and how reluctant Mehek was to even accept this relationship. I'm sure you have something outstanding planned for us with this. At least it means we'll get a couple more chapters with them in the same city if he flies back to Orlando to propose.😃

The OTT romantic gesture we will have to blame on those daffodils. The nerd in me has to research what I write about and when looking up the meaning of different flowers, it became apparent that the blossoms I needed would be dormant in the US at the time of this story...but they would be flowering down under...of course the great SK would move heaven and earth to source some for his love😳. And then to donate them after he was done would be a sure way to melt the fair Mehek's heart...what woman wouldn't be impressed with such a gesture.
As to the dat: I agree, Mehek most likely has kept a secret or two that she didn't disclose to Mel...perhaps instead of her reflecting, it may be SK who is now overwhelmed by memories of that LBD...its a long flight back to India after all😆
And yes now that he is sure of Mehek's feelings, and by rote Malik's, SK is rather magnanimous toward the chef😆. Poor Malik, the mess he has made of what could have been something special...men😕
Don't be thrown by the ring; the engagement is not exactly right around the corner, but the ever-planning side of SK has taken advantage of being relatively close to his jeweler of choice, and so it getting prepared for the inevitable event...For Mehek's sake he will not rush things too much, and certainly will seek the blessing needed from those who mean the most to both of them.
And speaking of plans there are definite ones to get them back in proximity again, but a lot of interesting things that will happen in the meantime.. I hope to enjoy some quite time to do some extra writing whilst on vacation...who knows SK next move may be to whisk his love off the the Bahamas for the weekend or something...wouldn't that be something😳
