Shaurya kept her bag on back seat, Mahek was about to sit in the car when she got a call from Sonal , she distanced herself from car and was talking to her ...Mahek where are you ?? My office cab will be coming in 15 Minutes ..Sonal informed her , Iam just starting Sonal , I will reach there soon and don't worry tu chali ja we will meet once you are back from office , Mahek replied her , Achaa I have cooked for you so dinner karlena , and call me if you need anything...take the keys from landlady sonal reminded her again ...Haan Sonal I will take it and will call you once you reach...She disconnected the call and turned around , Shaurya was standing few steps away from her ... When she was about to walk towards car a speeding car came and stopped right in front of her , the driver of the car suddenly applied break and Mahek stumbled due to the big noise her heart was in mouth she lost her balance and Shaurya grabbed her through her waist ,Mahek closed her eyes and was holding his shirt collar for support...he cupped her face with one hand...are you ok Mahek ?? he was scared for a second and anger shot his body...he made her stand properly and looked towards the car and a middle aged man in his late 50's stepped out of the car. ...he went towards him and shouted at him ...does it look like a road for you to drive that rashly here ?? Shaurya looked at her and he was wondering she is exactly taking blame on herself like his mother use to take blames of her husband on herself to make his anger cool down...he closed his eyes and gritted his teeths and clenched his fist and punched on the car with ful force...Is this the way you talk to your father and show your anger to him ...his father Harish Khanna questioned him ...Huhhh father do you even know the meaning of that word Shaurya replied with pure anger in his eyes...Mahek was taken aback when she learned that the person is his father...Awara has already informed her about how much he hates him ...Mahek holded his hand , It was bleeding again and she had tears in eyes , he has hurt his wounded hand again , Shaurya please calm down look at your hand it had started bleeding again , she said with choked voice, these wounds will heal today or tomorrow as they are visible Mahek ..but the wounds on my heart will never heal in this lifetime.. Shaurya drove off from there...

There was silence in the car , Shaurya's eyes were still red ,Mahek wanted to change the environment of the car , she turned on the FM and the song which was playing

They both looked at each other and their eyes were talking thousand words she opened the window to let the air come inside...it started drizzling outside and mahek was playing with raindrops...and he was just watching her ...he wanted to pour his heart out and tell her what he was going through..

Mahek took few drops and splashed it on his face , and smiled looking at him and he came out of his train of thoughts...her smile was so pure which immediately made him to smile...she was making him to do things which he has never done before...

There was a huge traffic jam ,it was dark already and the car was moving very slow , now that he smiled and looked normal...Mahek thought of talking to him and let him know that she understands his grief which he was trying to hide it , she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before she started talking...Iam Sorry ..she said ...he gave her a questioning look for what he asked ? woh I came to know about your mother's...Mahek couldn't complete her sentence and he immediately turned his face to the window, he wanted to hide his fresh tears which formed in his eyes and was ready to come out ,he didn't want anyone to pity on his condition ...but deep inside he carved for care and love..Mahek kept a hand on his shoulder and said it's ok you can cry out ... it doesn't mean you are weak if you cry but you are helping the pain inside you to let go , it will ease the pain .. Shaurya rubbed his tears from back of his hand , Mahek wasn't able to understand how to pacify him , Shaurya you must be having lot of questions in your head running like why God has taken away your mom and gave you so much pain ..but at least you know instead of complaining you should be thankful to him ..she said ... Shaurya looked at her with confusion... atleast she was with you for so many years she has taken care of you.. showed her love on you...but there are many who have lost their parents in their childhood...like me I lost my parents and chachu in a accident when I was 5 year old and I look at this with other way ...I look at those children who haven't seen faces of their parents at all and their parents abandon them on streets , and I feel lucky I could at least spend my 5 years with them and have my chachi to look after me , even she didn't married again so that she can take care of me ..She was 7 months pregnant and when that news came to her and she had a miscarriage, in that age I didn't even understand the meaning of death ..pain I was wondering why everyone has gathered and why they are disturbing my mom..dad and chachu who were sleeping... chachi was rushed to hospital and I was asking lot of questions to my Par Dadi ...PD chachi kion roo rahi hai ?? why they covered mama..Papa and chachu with white cloth ..when will they wake up?? But she was telling me Kuch nahi hua bacha and hugged me tightly...few days later chachi was back from hospital and she started to take care of me like her own child...we are strength of each other and weakness too , chachi runs a school for orphans and we find our happiness in those child's...we lost PD also after few after few years...she told with a deep breath and tears was all over her face ... traffic started moving and Shaurya was in a great shock to hear that he was feeling sorry that because him she had to remember all those things again...he wanted to hug her and erase her pain ...with great difficulty he said sorry I wasn't aware about it ...You don't have to be sorry it's my fate and I have accepted it and I never really think my parents have left me .. whenever I miss them ,I close my eyes I feel them around...I get instant energy, God has took away them early because he loved them and made then stars ...she pointed towards sky and showed him few stars which were shining bright are my parents...you know you think you just came like that to save me on that night?? NAHI God has send you like a angel to save me , she cupped his face and told him...my mom must have ordered him she said with a laugh and wiped her tears ..She holded his hand and said ... Shaurya please stop running away from your life and accept the reality and start living your life afresh you will get many reasons to live ... you can't give up your dreams so easily...take your each day as a new challenge...do you think your mom will be happy to see you like this ?? He holded her hand tightly and said I will try my best to change myself...

.Mahek was unsure to talk to him further or not but she wasn't sure when she will meet him again so she continued...Ek baat aur kehni thi ..he nodded his head ... I have just saw how you reacted and spoked with your father... Shaurya closed his eyes and said don't talk about him...why not Shaurya.. after all he is your father...he may haven't given you enough time and love as your mother did but father's are like that they think giving their kids a luxurious life is more than enough may be he must have brought up like that , have you ever tried to talk to him Normally?? she questioned him ...Ohh God how is she able to read all my mind and all my problems Shaurya was thinking and she was right he never had a healthy discussion with Dad... just sit with him and try to talk to him Normally and tell him you need his time not his money and hope things will work out for you... Shaurya took a deep breath and said I will try Mahek...I will try this for you...he said with a smile...they reached a narrow lane of Old Delhi...from where he can't take his car inside ...we reached the place...lane was filled with shops and there was a building inside, Shaurya came out and opened the door for her , and took out her bag...I will go from here she said ...I will wait till you go inside and call me he replied...Thank you for everything she said to him and started walking...He was seeing her going and was helpless..

Mahek saw a colourful shop beside the building entrance...they were selling..Rakhis and friendship bands...she kept her bag aside and buyed one band and turned around and looked at him... She started walking towards him ...he was happy that she is coming again towards him ..but at the same time he was confused why she is coming back...she reached him and stood in front of him...give me your hand she ordered...What he blurted out...she lifted his hand and Shaurya closed his hand mentally cursing why is this Rakhi around... hope she isn't tying Rakhi on his wrist as he protected her... bewaqoof ladki itna bhi nahi samjhati I LOVE HER ...he opened his eyes to his thoughts... what I love her ?? he was finding answers for his questions...How is that Mahek asked ... Shaurya looked at his hand ...It was a friendship band ...he took a deep breath saying Bach Gaya ... It's Beautiful he replied..Mahek forwarded her hand and said FRIENDS ?? Shaurya took her hand in his hand and said FOREVER ... Happy Friendship Day she said and hugged him...he hugged her tightly... Happy Friendship Day he replied...he wasn't ready to let her go...he got the reason... reason to live .. reason to smile...he had tears of happiness in his eyes, they broke the hug and he looked at the band and said I have to give you a return gift for this... Next time maybe she said with a smile..He nodded his head and she said Bye to him and went inside.. after few minutes she messaged him .. Reached inside...she can see him through the window...she waved a bye from there...he waved his hand and said Bye ...I will come back soon ...just wait for me ..he said to himself before her drove away from that place...he wasn't the same person who is going back..he was feeling relaxed it looked she has done some magic on him in this half hour...he was smiling looking at himself in mirror...He looked at the sky and shouted loudly...I love you Maa ...thanks for sending her in my life.
