Guys,

I have just logged in and so have not had the time to read most of the thoughts about the upcoming twist.

But I have a cringe-worthy thought in my head - need not be plausible and am sure Indian tellyland do not have it in it to explore it.

Ok - so what is it?

Could the relationship between Mehak and Shaurya be one that of incest?!

Not necessarily brother sister but half bro- half sis, first cousins etc etc? 😕

I dunno - this thought just struck me 😲

I don't think Karuna and Meera are any way related..

Karuna was given hints about speed and all ...so there has to be some connection with accident..

wahi toh.. am not saying karuna and meera are related.. but Shaurya' dad and meera or Shaurya's ma and Mehak's dad.. kuch bhi ho sakta hai.. 😕😕

Even I wondered y was mehaks maternal relations was never revealed clearly ...same is the case with shaurya never got to know wether his father and his real mother had any siblings and family ...

Ther are chance that they are connected with that accident ...but I guess its chance to show them related now..after show such a possessive nature of male lead...

@Santi, as I have mentioned in @tibs' post, I imagine that the makers will never portray an incest. It's not permitted as per Hindu Marriage laws. As per the Hindus, even marriage within the same Gotra is prohibited; since it is being believed that the people of the same Gotra carry identical genes (blood related). As per my knowledge, the prospective groom & the bride must not be related via a sibling relationship for at least 6 generations. The scientific reason behind it is to prevent genetic deformations in the future generations.

Personally I don't think ST is going to take that risk and break the pairing itself for good, which is the USP of this show. So, I am not worried about that at all. My question is why people are talking about incest in the first place itself!!!

Chandrima.. its not people talking.. its me who has raked this nest.. unless someone in earlier threads had made a similar point on incest - which in that case, i am not aware of..

But incest would be a scoop and the harra kiri that it brings with it, would be scandalously outrageous!

Never seen before on TV kinds..
