Chapter 4
Shaurya woke up first. Sunlight was streaming through the blinds, the weather had calmed down. The storm had finally passed.Both were lying down on the sofa. Mahek had draped herself over him. She had curled one leg into his and slept like a baby. Her kurti had ridden up around her waist,revealing her milky skin. Shaurya couldn't take his eyes off of her. She had found a spot and rested her head perfectly in the juncture of his neck and shoulder. Her softness pressed softly through the tshirt onto his chest. She was peacefully sleeping as if she hasn't slept in ages. Shaurya was lost in the sleeping beauty. He gently rubbed her cheeks with the back of his fingers. She moaned in her sleep and nuzzled closer in. She nuzzled her lips on his half bare chest giving him a hard on. Sweat broke on his forehead. Before he could react and get up,her leg moved up and her knee landed on his shaft gently. Sensation shot through him and a moan escaped his mouth. He was experiencing the most amazing adrenaline rush of his life. Shaurya could feel the heat from his erection as it pressed against her. He knew he had to stop right there before things could get out of hand. Letting out a deep breath he tried to get up when Mahek came on top of him as if he was a nice big mattress. His heart beat rose to its peak. When he saw her sleeping on his chest like that,his hands almost itched to touch her. "Sambhal ja shaurya!" His conscience warned him. She stayed on top of him, still asleep. He looked at her and stroked her hair. A full body shiver took over Shaurya. Unable to resist himself He touched her cheek with one finger then raised it to her temple to push at a tendril of her hair. He traced a line over her face and down to her rosy lips. Mahek frowned. It was painful for him to restrain himself anymore,his shaft was throbbing painfully under maheks thighs. He needed a cold shower right away to calm his manhood down. "Control shaurya control." He was covered in sweat,shutting off his wild desires he took a deep breath out. "If I don't move from here,lot of wild things can happen". Gently Moving her away,he got up from the sofa. Staring at her for a long moment he said,"I could have easily made love to you right now,but no..I'll wait till I marry you first..then I'll touch you whenever..however I want..and I promise you Mahek...I'll make our first lovemaking special and memorable for both of us." Flashing his signature smile he let her sleep and came down to make some coffee.
Few minutes later Mahek woke up to find herself on the sofa. She remembered the incident last night. Blinking and rubbing her eyes She looked around for shaurya but he wasn't there. Composing herself and fixing her hair she took the stairs and came down to the kitchen.The fragrance of fresh-brewed coffee reached her nostrils. Shaurya was busy making coffee,he didn't notice Mahek had pulled a chair and was sitting lost in deep thought. "Should I tell him about the anonymous caller or not? He doesn't seem like a wrong guy to me ..khadoos hai,akdru hai..ziddi hai par womanizer nai ho sakta...I was all alone with him for the entire night ..he could have done a lot of things with me but he didn't ..bina koi battimeezi kiye raat bhar mera kitna khayal rakha ...aur main usey galat samajh rahi thi...I should apologize for my rude behaviour the other day.." mumbled Mahek. "Apologize to whom and for what?" Shaurya was standing in front of her with two cups of coffee in his hand. "Woh...kuch nai I have a habit of talking to myself." Mahek tore her gaze from his and looked down at the floor. Shaurya chuckled. "Interesting! Here have some coffee." He handed her the cup. "I don't drink coffee but I'll have it today for a change...thanks." She took the coffee from his hand and started sipping. Shaurya pulled a chair and sat right across her. "I hope you slept well?" He asked while sipping his coffee. "Hmm I did and thanks to you...for everything." Replied Mahek. "Pleasure is all mine." He said with a wink. Shying away Mahek quickly looked at the cup in her hand. "I can't believe I'm blushing because of his one wink at me?" Ho Kya raha hai mujhey?" Thought Mahek. "Suno,you can take a day off today and tomorrow,no need to come to work...you look tired and exhausted...you need to get some rest." Ordered shaurya. "One day is enough I can't sit idle for two days." Whined Mahek. "I'll close the restaurant for two days,how's that?" He asked while taking the cups away. "No need to,i won't come." Mahek grimaced. "Can you give me a ride home? Chachi must be really worried." Mahek asked politely. "There' are buses and auto on the road you can go by that." Teased shaurya. "Theek hai jaati Hun!" Mahek made an ugly face at him and left towards the door. "Oye ruk I'm coming!" Grabbing his car keys he followed behind her.
Ride home was quite. Shaurya stole glances of her while driving whereas Mahek Just looked outside. "Chachi knows you were with me last night ...I messaged mohit that we were stuck in the storm so don't worry." Assured shaurya. Mahek just nodded. Soon they were parked in front of sharma house. "Thanks for the ride,I'll see you on Monday at work." "Not on Monday,tomorrow! I need my shirt by tomorrow." Reminded shaurya. "Oh! I'll bring it now if you can wait." Mahek turned to go when shaurya interrupted. "Mahek I don't have time, I have to rush...can you bring it to my place tomorrow?" Before Mahek could say anything,shaurya was gone! "Goodness! Ek shirt ko lekar iske ghar Jana parega and I have no idea where he lives." Sighing,she went inside.
"Mahek beta you are ok na?" Chachi asked. Mahek gave her a side hug. "I'm ok chachi bass thakgayee Hun." Bhagwan ka shukriya Tum theek ho." Chachi kissed her forehead. "Bacchey go freshen up we'll have breakfast together." Said Mansi chachi while tabling the food. Nodding her head,Mahek left for her bedroom. "Raat kaysa tha HJ ke saath?" Nehal asked from behind,startling her. "Gees nehal you scared the hell out me! And by the way who's HJ?" Nehal laughed. "My honewaale Jiju!" Mr shaurya khanna!" Maheks jaw dropped open. "And who said he's your HJ?" Asked Mahek while grabbing her towel. "I'm saying that...He's perfect match for you Di." Mahek hit her on her head. "He's no match for me nehal ..zameen aasma ka fark hai hum dono mein...and wayse bhi I don't wanna get married so please stop choosing and picking your HJ's for me samjhi?" Grimacing,she left towards the washroom. "Arey Di you didn't tell me about last night! Uff ho Di bhi na!" Nehal sat on the bed with her phone and browsed through the photo gallery. Shaurya and maheks Roka pictures came up on the screen. "How will I tell you Di,you are made for each other...God please do something taaki Mahek Di theek hojaay and dono ko Ek dusre ke saath aur pyaar mil sakey." Nehal prayed silently.
At the breakfast table Mahek noticed Mohit looked really excited and every few minutes he was checking his cell phone. "Mohit looks happy today,baath Kya hai mohit?" Asked Mahek. "Arey Di don't you know Aaj sonal Bhaabi wapas aa rahi hai!" Said nehal. Sonal who was gone for a month to complete her course was returning that day. "Aaj main aur sonal joh bhi hai it's because of shaurya ..Kya kuch nai kiya uss ne hum dono ke liye." Said mohit. "My handsome is a sweetheart." Added PD. Mahek was speechless and confused as others just kept on blabbering and praising shaurya. Mahek came to know mohit and sonal owned and operated a hotel because of shaurya. "Yeh shaurya cheez Kya hai?" She was lost in his thoughts when nehal snapped her fingers in front of her. "Di,kaha kho gayee?" Maheks trance broke and she quickly composed herself. "Kahi nai woh I was just thinking about something." "Something or someone?" Muttered nehal with a wink. Mahek glared at her angrily. Nehal giggled and zipped her mouth. "Di we are planning for a pizza party tonight so don't go anywhere ok?" Ordered mohit. "But I have to go somewhere..." replied Mahek. Her cousins looked at her sadly. "Chill guys I'll be back before the party begins!" Assured Mahek. "Alright then!" Everyone's faces lit up. Mahek left towards the terrace for some fresh air. "Shaurya must be at work by now,yahi Accha mauka hai I should go to his place and leave his shirt there." Thought Mahek. Finding his address online,she headed for khanna mansion.
Awara was watering the flower garden when his eyes fell on his Mahek bhabi who was drawing near. "Bha..bha..Bhaabi?" Stammered awara. Mahek looked behind her for awara's Bhaabi. Finding no one behind her she asked. "Bhaabi kis ko bola? Mujhey bola Kya?" Awara nodded happily. "I'm not your Bhabhi ok?" You must be mistaken." Mahek told him. "No no you are my Mahek Bhaabi." Mahek was getting annoyed by awara. "Yeh Bhaabi Bhaabi Kya laga rakha hai? Accha chalo If I'm your Bhaabi then you must also have a bhaiya..right?" Awara gestured to the balcony. "Of course..look over there." Mahek glanced at the balcony,to her surprise shaurya was standing there and waving to her. "Oh God he's home!" Butterflies growled in her tummy. Forcing back a Smile she waved back and handed the paper bag to awara. "Give this to your bhaiya ...I mean to shaurya." Awara looked at shaurya who was nodding his head in no. "Sorry Bhaabi I can't." Before Mahek could say anything awara vanished from there. "Ajeeb namuna hai yeh." Shaurya was just watching her and flashing a smile. "Can you stop smiling and come down to get your stuff?" Asked Mahek. "I'm not coming there,you come inside." Mahek pulled a face. "Theek hai mat aao! I'm going home with this!" Mahek turned to go when someone pulled the edge of her dupatta. Twitching her head to see who it was,she found a little cute puppy pulling on her dupatta and dragging her towards the main door. "Hey you! Stop...where you taking me?" Yelled Mahek. But the puppy didn't stop. "Shaurya tell him to stop na." Pleaded Mahek. "Tamatar lal,bring her in boy!" Laughed shaurya. Mahek couldn't make him stop. Naughty TL obeyed his papa and dragged his momma to his bedroom. Once inside the room she couldn't hold her dupatta anymore so she let it go. TL didn't know his momma was left behind and he was running only with her dupatta. He handed the dupatta to shaurya and jumped on his lap. Then he noticed along with his papa,that his momma was hugging her chest out of embarrassment. Mahek felt very uncomfortable without her dupatta on her. Keeping her head low she just looked at her curled toes. Making TL sit on the bed,shaurya took gentle yet firm steps towards her. Her heart was beating at a frantic speed as if she just finished a race. She didn't have courage to look at him but she did. Her curious gaze rose to his face. A shiver ran through her body as he placed the dupatta around her shoulders. "I'm sorry..woh TL ..." "Its ok he's just a puppy." Said Mahek and breathed. "I thought you were at work." She said while handing him the bag. "Oh I went but had to come back,My hand was sore from last nights incident." Mahek felt bad when she heard that. "I'm sorry because of me you had to break that door down and got hurt in the process." "Tum sorry Bahut bolti ho yaar... here meet him ..he's TL matlab tamatar lal." Shaurya placed TL on maheks lap. "He's one naughty boy!" Mahek sat on the bed and played with TL while shaurya sat there,captivated by her innocence and beauty. Mahek caught him staring at her,but he didn't bother to look away. She lowered her gaze and blushed,gathering and tucking a lock behind her ear she felt heat warming her cheeks. Shaurya still kept his eyes intact on her face. Not able to resist,She gazed up at him, instantly mesmerized by his beautiful wolf eyes and full lips. She was drowning in his dark orbs. "Sambhal ja Mahek,you are in his room and sitting on his bed." Her inner being told her. She gulped and cleared her throat. "I should be going.." she stood up but shaurya caught her hand.
"Don't go please." Persisted shaurya. Mahek turned and faced him. "Shaurya,I can't stay..I have to go...ghar par kisi ko bata kar nai aayee Hun main." "Not a problem! I'll call chachi right now and let her know that you are with me and will be coming home late." Shaurya grabbed his phone and dialled chachi's number. "Shaurya don't please! What will she think? I'm ..I'm going!" Before Mahek could move shaurya was standing by the door blocking her way. Maheks jaw dropped open. On the other side chachi answered the his call. Shaurya informed her about mehek and hung up. Mahek was still standing there with her mouth open. "Shut it before the flies get inside." Shaurya teased. Mahek pouted with a frown. "What will I do here all day?" Shaurya pulled her in his arms. "There are lot of things we can do ..I mean you can do." A glint of mischief was playing in his eyes. Maheks knees turned jelly and nervous excitement ran in her tummy. He cupped her cheeks and both searched in each other's eyes. "I was here before wasn't I?" Her sudden question broke his trance. "How do you know?" He asked. "I just feel it." Replied Mahek softly. "I feel I know this room,that empty photo frame and that balcony...I'm trying hard to remember but my memory is blank.." Tears formed in her eyes. "Kaun Hun main shaurya? Kya lagti Hun main Tumari? Please tell me..." Tears rolled down her cheeks. Shaurya wrapped his arms around her and buried her in his chest. "I can't tell you Mahek,darta Hun ki main tumey fir se na kho dun." Thought Shaurya. There was a knock on the door and karuna ma stepped in. Her face lit up seeing Mahek there. MehRya broke the hug and composed themselves. " Bhagwan ka shukr hai you are here,I needed a helping hand in the kitchen ..aur Tumarey haathon mein toh jaadu hai Mahek,meri help karogi?" Mahek nodded and followed her to the kitchen. "Ma ko bhi abhi anaa tha." Sadly,shaurya took TL in his arms and sat on the bed.
"Mahek,call me ma mujhey Accha lagega." Karuna ma told Mahek. Confused Mahek just nodded her head. "Shaurya's business partners are coming for dinner tonight,I want you to help me in cooking." Said ma. "That's great! I'd love to help." Both ladies planned a menu and started cooking. "I miss you bacchey...bass jaldhi se theek ho jaa aur apne ghar aaja." Ma said in her heart as tears welled in her eyes. Mahek was cooking but her heart and mind was with shaurya. She closed her eyes and gave her head a shake. "Why am I thinking about him? What is it that's drawing me to him?" She thought. "Mahek,forget about him and concentrate on your cooking." She said softly. Later,ma asked her to bring dry fruits from the pantry. She took a empty tray and left towards the pantry. Shaurya who was watching her from the stairs,he quietly followed behind her. Inside the huge walk-in pantry,Mahek looked at the shelves around her. The dry fruits were kept on the very top shelf. "Hey Bhagwan how will I reach the top?" Finding a chair she climbed on it. Suddenly she lost a footing and fell from the chair with a cry. Two strong arms caught her before she could land on the floor. Her breath caught in her throat. "Shaurya!" He put her down gently. "Dhyaan kaha hai tumara? You could have hurt your self!" Shaurya scolded her. "Why do you care about me shaurya?" She blurted. Shaurya walked to the door and closed it. "Why did you close the door?" Mahek gulped when he looked at her intensely. He made her breathless,fluttery inside. And yet there was something warm and tender in his eyes. "Jawaab tumey abhi mil jaayga." A half smile flashed across his mouth as he neared her. "What are you about to do?" She asked while taking a deep breath. "A lot of things." He winked at her giving her a rise in her heartbeat. "Shaurya please you are scaring me." She stepped back but shaurya kept moving towards her. "You asked for it Mahek." Soon she was trapped between him and the shelf. He looked down into her face,his gaze locking with hers. Her mouth and throat went dry on her. His eyes darkened with sensuality like a cloud covered night. Bewitched,she stared in them. She knew what was coming. Her chest rose and fell. He could see the struggle in her eyes"the longing, the confusion, and frustration. He would make things clear for her right there and then. Cupping her cheeks He brought his lips down on hers, claiming them with his own. The fire roiled in her belly, exploding like a volcano. She sunk into his lips, letting the sensation take her. He dipped his tongue into her mouth, coaxing her further, tasting more of her, wanting more of her. Satisfaction filled him when she didn't pull away. He needed her,he needed to touch her and feel every part of her. When finally their lips parted, she swayed at the dizziness that swam through her head. Out of breath,she was still clinging to him for her dear life. "I hope you got the answer now." He brushed one of her curls behind her ear. Embarrassed and shy she stood there with her gaze lowered. "If you didn't get your answer I can continue.." he teased. Sucking in her breath with widened eyes, Mahek ran from there. "Oye hello! Take this with you!" Shaurya howled behind her but she was gone. His signature smile appeared on his lips thinking about the kiss they just shared. "This is just the beginning Mrs Mahek shaurya khanna!"
Precap: Shaurya opens a new restaurant out of Delhi. Both Mahek and shaurya move there to run the restaurant. And guess what? They are room mates! You can expect more romance for sure (wink)
