Revenge plots are not new but for that matter there is no plot that hasn't been shown on tv before. But what matters is the treatment of the track. Revenge plot was not acceptable to the audience but the makers, if they were really serious about showing the revenge plot, should have stuck to their guns and shown an out and out revenge track irrespective of the popular opinion. Because like i said before, it's the treatment that's important. As long as the story makes sense and the acting is bang on, i don't care that the plot is regressive or not.
But the makers were confused and tried to take a middle path which shows that they were not confident about either tracks. Should they show that SK doesn't love mehek at all and he did everything for revenge or should they show that he's just acting and actually loves her a lot.
The middle path eventually ruined everything. A washed down revenge plot where the guy loves the girl and is reluctant to accept it. The girl sets out to show him the right path. A high point that could have actually turned everything around in reality turned out to be a damp squib.
SK made sense right up to the wedding but now? I just don't get him. Where is the shrewd businessman? Where is the man who found his love and wanted to settle down with his girl? He did everything in his capacity to win the girl and all that was for a recipe book? Really? Damn! The show could have turned into so much more but here we are, stuck in a place where both leads don't make sense anymore.
Mehek says she'll love him forever but she'll never forgive him which kind of made the plot interesting and then suddenly she sets out to help her 'husband' understand that he actually loves love and that he made a mistake!😕
Oh God! This is just not funny. Am i watching a different show? Certainly looks like it. Why can't the couple take some time off each other? Why do they have to be in eachother's face every single second? Self respect and ego disappear as soon as the girl falls in love. Why? Where is the girl who wanted to end the relationship when she realized that her family would never get respect from her sasural? Where is the girl who was left alone in the mandap? Why does the heart win over the mind?
Show me cheesy scenes..show me illogical scenes..but please don't insult my intelligence by completely changing the personality traits of people that I've been watching for a 100 episodes now.
