Nice post girls. All valid points discussed. Want to add my 2 cents. I think shaurya likes mehek even from the start. Though he wants to admit it his ego didn't let it.may be it was just a mere attraction at first. But after mehek told him that he wasn't hot or dashing . His bruised ego made him do all sorts of tortures on mehek. Surprisingly the naive mehek gone & emerged the tough mehek. At every point of time she stood up for herself which in turn might have increased his attraction towards her. Slowly he was learning about her with each step in the competition. There might be attraction from mehek ' s side too which she may not know herself. After the slap & mehek's exit from isc, shaurya told his mom that if mehek will ever forgive him & how he can ask for her forgiveness even for his business purpose. This shows that he was also hurt that he may not see her again. Then he feels relieved that she forgave him & attended the finale. From that time he was grabbing each & every opportunity to be with her. Mehek on the other hand was only concerned about her family. Even though she has some crush she knows that it will not happen and she will go with her family opinion regarding her marriage.
So now in the present scenario they both need time to analyse what they actually want . Shaurya has to give some time to mehek . Now that mehek's family knows that she is in love with him. There is no danger of marriage proposals for her from her family. ( unless mehek acts impulsive & asks them to search for rishta). Meanwhile shaurya can deal with his evil families & remove the hurdles for their future. Mehek must also think whether she can move on if not then she must first get to know how to deal with shaurie boy's evil family. So sometime for both of them would be fine.
