What would anyone of us do in a situation that Mahek is in? There is something or the other happening to them ever since Shaurya happened to them and they are constantly in the news for all the wrong reasons. Doesn't that affect their day to day lives in a close knit community they live in? Sharmas, including Mahek, are simpletons. They don't understand the twisted world of Shaurya's family. All they see is that Shaurya's family is against the alliance and that they are very vengeful people who will go to any extent to stop it. If it was Mahek alone at the receiving end, she might have braved this marriage for love, but she cannot put her people at risk now, can she?

This story is about Mahek's journey She was brought up in an extremely protective environment by her uncles and aunts, because she was their responsibility. They fussed about her more than their own kids. Losing her parents at a young age along with all this protective upbringing made her meek and submissive. It's Shaurya's constant challenging and pushing that made her stronger in the super cook contest, like how he force fed the energy bar whenever she passed out. Until unless she is forced into a situation, she will always run away from it, like she ran away from super cook contest so many times only to be pulled right back into it by Shaurya. Now in the current situation also, no matter how much her heart craves him, Mahek will not go to Shaurya's world on her own. Obviously she will be forced into it by Shaurya through marriage. It's easy to break up in love but one cannot do the same with marriage.

Kantha chachi's ankle hurts whenever her children are in some kind of trouble. Her children and that home are her life. It happened when Nehal was about to commit suicide and now today. May be Mahek is in trouble. Shaurya helped when Nehal was in trouble and he is treating Kantha's ankle now, so I am guessing whatever he does will be for their good. He said he had so many sport related injuries over the years and he knows how to heal them. He has experience in the games that the inmates of his house play, so he understands the damage they can cause and the antidote. He is going to do something that will hurt Mahek and Sharmas, but it's for their own good, I guess.

All said, I don't understand the purpose of Mahek raising her hand on Shaurya in the precap. Please cvs, if you are planning to turn this soap into some kind of kinky abusive shit, don't do it. Keep it simple. Don't keep the audience guessing about Shaurya's intentions. You can keep Mahek in the dark if you want but not the audience. Reveal him to us so we can enjoy the romance or nokjhonk or whatever in peace.
