Mehek's Similarity to Madhubala

Hi all, Sheeba here, so far been a silent reader. Thought to make a post, when in the recent episodes, I realised that Mehek's plot contains a striking similarity with a former serial aired in Colors, Madhubala: ek Ishq ek Junoon.

In Madhubala the male lead is a celebrity, His mother is very loving but was a step mother, his sister in law (the vamp) was also his former girl friend, who ditched him for his brother (cousin), he hates his father for some reasons in the past. The female lead is a commoner, who slaps him in public and as a revenge he stops her marriage and marries her and tortures her, but eventually fall in love.

Are the creatives feeding us old wine in new bottles?

Any thoughts dear friends?

Ya there r similarities ,as writers r same but I had not viewed madhubala whole ,only starting few episodes I had seen ,not only this show but others show too go on repeating tracks which we have seen in other show but in different matter .just enjoy this show ,I just love this show

ya...i agree...but lets hope any novelty in the future track...expect they will add any different theory into an existing platform...

Few similarity between Madhubala is evident.

One main similarity is hero's ex girlfriend being his Bhabhi. Then another is hero being slapped in front of media.

But in Madhubala, RK- the hero was a loner with no family emotions. There was no step mother. He hated his actual mother as she married his step father soon after his father committed suicide. He had no obligation to anyone.

But here Shaurya is very close to his mother Karuna. He wants her love and care.

So i always wonder , if he is playing with Mehak, then how he will face his mother when his sins come into light .

Unlike Mehek,in Madhubala, she was in love with her fiance. He too loved her. But due to family pressure and misunderstanding created by RK, he was forced to break their engagement. He was not a langoor like Ajay but halaat ka maara bechara tha.

I feel both Mahek and Madhubala are strong female characters. They are survivors.Unlike those cry babies in typical saas-bahu sagas. Hopefully they will not degrade Mehek's character as weak (the way she behaved yesterday when Ajay manhandled her)

I too love this show for the sizzling chemistry between Karan and Samiksha 😉and also the background of culinary delights is great, because of my love for food😛

This is the non-stop comparison post I'm seeing in this forum...! I have never watched "Madhubala" so don't have any idea of what similarities you're referring to...! But...one thing I know for sure..."Madhubala" also must have been a sequel of another show with scenes copied from one or many more shows...!

Repeating a scene or the storyline of another show is no big deal...as it has become a fashion in the world of Tellywood...! ZKM isn't the first...neither will be the last to adopt this trend...it's the truth of the reel world...!

My sincere request to all of you guys...please stop this comparison game...! For me ZKM and MehRya are genuine and unique in my eyes...! Anyway..this is ZKM forum...and it would be better for all and everyone of us to discuss about this show and everything related to it...and no other shows...! It's going against the rules of the forum...!

This is not to offense or hurt anyone feelings...! This is my personal pov...! Being a hardcore shipper of this show and MehRya...it's very upsetting to see it continuously, being compared with other shows...!

P.S: i don't think..the creatives are feeding us old wine in a new bottle...because, our hero drinks only milk and juice...and we faithful, MehRya lovers are his followers...we don't drink alcohol...!😉

madhubala was one of my favourite story...in Madhubala mother was biological...but step-father...who also hated hero...tried his best to ruin his future...hero ditched heroine two times.one with half-marriage...second...left her once again in mandap...but later stalk her...

it has similarities, but its not new in hindi tele-world...right now I am enjoying the story
